The unique geology and topography of the Goat Pens made this a popular movie set and many westerns were filmed here in the 80's and 90's. Will come back. Great Place

Great place, easy to find and super fun place. We only stayed one night and one morning during the off season/early December and we had a blast picking from all the camp sites and cooking and just enjoying the stars and walking around and doing mini hikes. Will definitely come back here and bring friends. Thanks to Jeff for a great and seamless camp area.

Couldn’t recommend more

Jeff and Rachel were fantastic to our group of 4. We only stayed for two nights over thanksgiving but they were super accommodating. Between doing a trail ride, learning about the history of the land, seeing all the animals, having brilliant nighttime stargazing views, and being in such close proximity to Big Bend, we sure would do it all over again!! Thank you both!

Great Campsite, near Big Bend NP

Really cool Campsite, if a rugged terrain, I would definitely recommend staying here. When I arrive, Jeff greeted me at the entrance, and show me the place. Plus Jeff also came by, to check if I needed anything. The campsite is Huge, and you could Pick any site, and the campfire was also great.

Great stay! The views around are phenomenal especially at night. Greatly appreciate the ease of access; had a bit of a late arrival so it really helped. Being nested behind a couple hills added to the quiet and lovely experience.
