We have 2 longhorns and a mini-donkey who roam the property and are friendly, but please don’t feed them. 7 available campsites with picnic tables and a fire rings, and plenty of trees to hang your hammock!
Well water available from the hose next to the shower (solar), Bathroom facilities available, (composting toilet)
We tent camped 1 night at primitive site one. Great size and set up-- Hosts were always responsive. -- It is in closer to the main road and other homes that I expected, so there was some noise at night but nothing too loud. Great time-- We will be back.

I loved this camp spot! It’s pretty secluded and behind are lots of trees. Perfect for hanging hammocks and pulling in an RV

Nice campsites. Cool bike trails/walking path. Nearby a cool area to explore nearby with breweries and restaurants. Not so far out in the wilderness but far enough. Nice hosts for stocking firewood.

Great Place to Stay!

We loved our stay at Longhorn Getaway! It is a very small, quiet and well-maintained campground. Our host, Jana, was very responsive and we had no issues at all.

I loved the animals on the property. A bit intimidating at first but I just fell in love with the area too. The outhouse was better kept than some bathrooms in the city.

Great Get Away to Camp
Tent ·
Land was beautiful. They’ve done a great job building walking paths to go around the property as well as a discgolf course. They do have Longhorns and a donkey that stayed right outside of our tent at night so just an FYI if you bring a dog. Was a story to tell and cool experience! Will definitely be coming back! 10/10.
