Escape to our serene 22 acre ranch and indulge in breathtaking sunset views that will leave you in awe. Nestled amidst nature's embrace, our camping site offers an idyllic retreat for those seeking tranquility and adventure. Immerse yourself in the authentic ranch experience as you embark on a delightful journey of feeding our friendly cows during the day. Interact with these gentle creatures and create unforgettable memories. And when the sun sets, prepare to be mesmerized as you gaze at the sparkling expanse of stars that blanket the night sky, far away from the city lights.Welcome to a historic site that holds the legacy of German immigrants who settled in this area during the late 1870s. Our ranch is part of a sprawling 70-acre homestead that originally began as a cotton farm. Just west of the cabin, on the additional acreage, the old town of New Biealu was founded. While only a footing remains from the once-thriving town, it serves as a poignant reminder of its history, with the cotton gin having stood there. Adding to its historical significance, it is believed that Santa Ana's army retreated to Gonzales from the Battle of San Jacinto, crossing the Colorado River in Columbus, and taking the old Gonzales road—now known as FM 532—which runs in front of our property. Embrace the tranquility of our ranch, where there is an array of activities to enjoy. Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature by birdwatching or gazing at the stars on clear nights. Venture beyond the ranch, and you'll discover an abundance of activities in the surrounding area. From waterparks to wineries, breweries, and even a drive-through zoo, there's something for everyone. Don't miss out on the lively festivals held in the nearby small towns, including the renowned Warrenton and Roundtop Antique shows. You can also visit the historic Spoetzl Brewery, Texas' largest craft brewery, producing the beloved Shiner Bock, the top-selling craft beer in the state. And if you're in the mood for some lively entertainment, the area boasts century-old dance halls where you can enjoy cold drinks and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Immerse yourself in history, natural beauty, and a range of exciting activities during your stay at our ranch. Book your unforgettable getaway today and experience the best of what this remarkable area has to offer
