Ok...not a real camping experience
29 ft travel trailer
We used this site as a base and explored state parks around the area during the day. The full hookups worked great and the host was friendly.
Tips!
Do not use the address in Hipcamp. Get the exact address from the host before you go or you will end up at the wrong property.
Note to other RVs/trailers - the site is not level as described. We had to use 5 blocks on each wheel on passenger side to level side to side and our tongue jack was extended a lot to level front to back. Make sure you have enough blocks before you go. We definitely would not have been level if we had only had our curved levelers. It is on rocks, but not small gravel, more like 2-3" pieces.
It seems like there is an apartment building with multiple units in the house, and parking near the gate used for day use was not ideal to navigate the cement retaining wall and the way the tenants park their trucks.
"You may see other campers" means you likely will be camping on top of one another, not just that you might see them from time to time. The 3 sites are very close together, more so than any other place I've been to. Do not think you will be spaced out or that there will be trees between you.
There is not a firepit and picnic table for each site. It is a community setup and they are a little ways away from the sites. We didn't use them.
Watch for trees when using the turnaround. It's not wide enough to not scratch the trailer.
Overall, seemed like more of a long term place than camping.
