I went camping for the first and last time 15 years ago and I hated it! So when my husband and our friends wanted to go camping last weekend, I was hesitant because I remembered how miserable it was the last time I went. My husband was hell bent on Enchanted Rock, but the campsite was a primitive one with other campers on site and portable bathrooms (so gross). After some feet stomping and complaining, the men folk agreed to let me pick the spot. After days of searching in the black hole of information, my friend and I picked Noah’s place. I didn’t know what to expect, but we were not disappointed. It is absolutely beautiful out there. We were the only people there on his almost 400 acre ranch, so we had the freedom to hike around and do as we pleased. I even enjoyed sleeping in the yurt, which is huge, furnished and has a swamp cooler so it’s not miserable to sleep in. Noah has a brilliant and creative mind and did an amazing job bringing his idea in to fruition. Everything he has built looks as if it’s part of nature, including the compost toilet in an oversized outhouse, which was very very clean. The most beautiful part of the ranch is the Garden, where Noah takes his guests and makes the best wood fired pizza that I’ve ever had in my 51 years on this planet. I like camping now and this will be one of our go to spots. Next time I’m bringing my German Shepherds so they can run free and play with Noah’s dog Patriot. We LOVED Patriot as much as Noah. I give 5 stars
