100 acres on the Colorado river! Great fishing, beautiful blue bonnets (during season) swimming, boating, walking trails, cows and donkeys to watch grazing, bird watching, and plenty more at this one of a kind ranch. Relax and enjoy unobstructed views of the stars. Kids are welcome to enjoy the great outdoors!
The campsite offers a truly peaceful escape, with a picturesque setting by the river that campers rave about. Guests frequently mention the breathtaking views, ample privacy, and the calming presence of nature. The host, Paige, is highly appreciated for her helpfulness and prompt communication. A few visitors noted the limited river access and overgrown areas, but overall, the positive experiences far outweigh these minor inconveniences.
This was a nice spot with lots of open spaces, both up by the RV site and down by the river. We were close to Bastrop State Park and downtown Bastrop for shopping and restaurants. The new pad sites overlooked the river below. Please note that there are electrical hookups at the pads but water and sewer are by the front entrance of the property.
I loved the site. Just a short walk down the steps to the river. Thank you Paige for the kayak paddle. Cute spot at the river to put the kayak in, Not a big rivers edge if a lot of people are there at the same time but we enjoyed it as we were there all by ourselves. This would definitely be a GREAT place for a group. Again, Thank you Paige.
The instructions were clear on where we could camp and the host was quick to respond with any question I had! You definitely won't be disappointed with the river just a short hike away, I definitely will be staying here again!
