Located exactly halfway between Salt Lake and Moab, The Store is a historic 113 year-old general store building that originally served the coal miners who lived and worked in the small former mining town of Kenilworth. Now, it's a creative retreat, art space and desert permaculture site. We have a large indoor co-working/art studio space (and gigabit wifi) should you like to be productive during your stay. Or simply relax and enjoy the peace, quiet and serenity that this mountain sanctuary provides. We are also surrounded by wilderness and outdoor recreation opportunities, including endless hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. The nearby artists colony of Helper has lots of amenities and offerings including a floatable river with beaches and swimming holes. Within 30 minutes’ drive are several major tourist attractions such as Nine Mile Canyon, Gordon Creek Falls, and the San Rafael Swell. This zome is 10' wide and comfortably sleeps two people. Bring your own sleep system or request to use ours when you book, and doze inside a beautiful geodesic structure that will recharge your body and enhance your dreams. There is a shared, public bathroom on site 100' away with toilet, sink and shower. No kitchen access at this time.

The store is a one of a kind property nestled against beautiful mountains. Quiet and relaxing with lots of trees and plants. We loved the bus and its comfortable king size bed! We will definitely come back again! Thank you Oren!

Heaven on Earth
Absolutely one of my most favorite places I have ever stayed and I have travelled extensively. Oran had thought of every little detail and the place and gardens are exactly as described. The renovations and progress on the old store are wonderful to see. The views of the garden and the surrounding landscapes are stunning. It is absolutely a little slice of heaven on earth. I loved having morning coffee in the garden and will definitely be back. 🙏🏼💜

Incredible. The bus is adorable, and it was wonderful to see what Oran has done with the store. His passion for creativity is astounding and he is very driven! The garden was the perfect spot for morning coffee, and the area is extremely quiet. The bus was nice and warm and very clean. Oran was great company and ensured I was happy and comfortable 😊.

The Blue Bus was a great stay! Since it is early April I was prepared to be cold, yet with the heater and extra blankets provided it was very comfortable. The space was very clean and cozy.
