This beautiful 13acre slice of heaven sits along the Little Quilcene River. Cedar+Fern hosts multiple campsites in a park-like setting amongst PNW's forest giants, Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, Big Leaf Maple, etc.
During your stay, explore the walking trails throughout the towering forest to find private spots along the river to take a dip. Check out all the new growth on the young fruit orchard and large food garden. Walk through the alder grove and discover both the pond as well as the new farm extension!
While on the land, let the sounds of the river wash away life's stress and enjoy a bit of the slow life.
Cedar + Fern offers a serene and well-maintained camping experience in a lush, forested setting. Visitors frequently mention the peacefulness and beauty of the site, with spacious and private tent areas nestled amongst the trees. The host, Jill, is praised for her friendliness and attentiveness, often going above and beyond to enhance guests' stays. While mosquitos are noted as a seasonal issue, the overall experience remains overwhelmingly positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.
I loved my solo car camping trip here so much I brought my wife back the next weekend. All the fall leaves and fog... the views were stunning. Jill is a gracious host and we're looking forward to many more trips here.
Also, I'm an outdoor preschool teacher and this location is PERFECT for all ages!
This farm site is adorable! The space fit our 25' rv nicely, and was right next to the veggies and chicken coop. We requested a dozen eggs that we used all week long on our trip. Make sure to follow the directions they send, they will absolutely get you there with no problems since the location is a bit off the beaten path.
The tent site was large and private as it is tucked back in the trees a bit. The site has all thr necessary amenities and the bathroom was very clean.
