Surface type: Loose Gravel
We currently have two leveled areas great for tent camping. There are several other areas where you can pitch additional tents, though they may be a bit un-level and have a few sticks or rocks underneath. I recommend pitching any additional tents along the road - just be sure not to block any cars for fire hazard purposes.

Campfires allowed
Firepit, private. Please ensure all campfires are kept within the designated firepit area and are attended at all times. When you are finished, please spread the ashes and pour water over the coals to make avoid the fire from relighting. Thank you!
Toilet available
Composting toilet. Our composting toilet requires that everyone (including men) sit down to use it so that everything goes where it's supposed to. Toilet paper can be disposed of in the toilet (under the trap door) or burnt in the fireplace.
Pets allowed
Off leash. We love our pets and any opportunity to let them explore freely! However, please be aware that there are wild animals in the area so pets should be kept within eyesight at all times (especially those smaller guys). We cannot be responsible for your pets and ask that you please keep this in mind.
Potable water available
Bottled water or jugs. We will provide 5 gallons of water for your group for all stays. We are also happy to provide more or leave ice water for your group as an add-on service.
Bins available
Trash bin. We do provide bins and trash bags but all guests are required to pack out any trash they bring with them. There is a shorter bin in the outhouse that can easily be pulled out to the campsite area, as well as some taller metal bins behind the outhouse if needed. Please leave no trace and return everything as you found it!
Picnic table present
You'll find two picnic tables located in the second campsite area. Feel free to move them around as needed to suit your site setup!

Tent
Camp was very clean and organized, made it very easy to clean up with the included garbage bags. Restroom was very clean and tidy. Trail was a lot of fun to walk along. Nice flat ground for setting up the tent. Thank you Michelle for hosting and keeping the site nice!

Medley Woods is a great campsite and very private. The host provided plenty of drinking water, and an outhouse. We had 6 people and two vehicles but it could have easily fit more people. It got very hot during the summer day but the host provided a pop up canopy for shade. There are a few trails nearby to walk around in the woods. Overall I'd probably consider camping here again.

Michelle's spot is absolutely perfect for those looking for a quiet, comfortable spot. There's nobody around for what seems like miles, and the camping area is fantastic. Very private and secluded. There were even some amenities we weren't expecting, which was a nice and thoughtful touch. I would totally recommend this place, and look forward to camping here again soon!

Secluded Place to Stargaze!
13 ft travel trailer
Such a great, wide open area to stargaze by the fire while totally secluded and surrounded on all sides by woods, it felt like we were the only people (and dog!) on earth... exactly what we were looking for. The outhouse and other amenities were very clean and the property was well maintained and easy to access.

Fantastic, private, giant campsite with nice combination of open space and wooded areas to explore. Outhouse, shade structure, and picnic tables are great to have! Our group had a wonderful stay! The wasps are intense just about everywhere in this neck of the woods this time of year - we bought an extra wasp trap and it helped.

Well-Organized
Tent · Group trip
Communication and consideration for this campsite & our reservation were both excellent. The spot is well-organized and tidy. That we got a spot in the height of camping season not long before we camped there was a blessing. We love the idea of a composting toilet. In practice, it requires some patience. Maybe we did it wrong. The Toandos Peninsula is wonderful place and you could do much worse.
