This spot is so sweet! The creek is beautiful and the sites are private and perfect for relaxing in nature. The pond wildlife is amazing and the whole property is well kept. The bathrooms are clean and being able to rent portable campfires is an added bonus!

Super clean, hosts were very nice and helpful! Honestly such a steal for a nice secluded spot (we rented lot #7). Definitely would come back!

Loved the location & access to the river, everyone was nice would recommend this to others for sure. Big bonus being able to purchase wood not having to haul it. James was awsome a few people in our group wanted to float the river it James made it happen for them!!

My family really enjoyed our stay at site #3, and we wish it could have been longer (had to leave early due to a family emergency). It's a great basecamp for exploring Mt. St. Helens, which was our primary focus, and is located just a few minutes down the road from the sediment dam that protects all the communities downriver and the forest learning center which has some cool information and artifacts from the 1980 eruption.
Unfortunately we weren't able to get up to the Johnston Ridge Observatory due to a large landslide covering the road, but we're hoping to visit when it reopens, and we'd definitely like to stay at this campground again when the time comes for another St. Helens trip.
It came equipped with everything we needed, it felt fairly private, and there was plenty of level ground to pitch our tent. Hearing the river rushing by was really nice and made up for a bit of road noise.

The land was beautiful, and the camp site was clean and stocked with the things we wanted. The river is super close, gorgeous, and pretty easy to get to. The highway being close created some intrusive noise, but I honestly liked that; it's a reminder that you're not TOO deep in the woods. The hosts were gracious, helpful, and expedient.
