Within a 30-minute drive from the Nisqually Entrance.
This is the old historic wagon road to Mount Rainier Park and is home to many old homesteads from the late 1800's and early 1900. Its a very pretty drive in the fall when the colors are changing and the local elk are bugling.
Once we found the site we were very happy with it, we got a little lost because we went to the address that was posted not the address in the directions but other than that we were pleased with the site.
Really convenient with electric, water, and a wood fire pit. It was a good spot for the night. Only downside is it’s somewhat hard to find. Don’t click on the map to find the place. It won’t lead to the right spot.
It was easy in and out , hard to level on the chunky rocks .
The water never ran clear , so no water ,nor sewer was a let down.
Very nosy generator in neighboring area, and really close to a busy road .
But All in all , it was convient and It would be a good base camp .
Thanks
