"Kulshan" Tent-Site - Valley Views

"Loowit" Classic Canvas Tent
A beautiful, private camp site. the hosts provided everything we needed to have an amazing time! Wildflowers are in bloom which was just the icing on the cake. The canvas tent was cozy, the fire pit worked great, couldn’t have asked for a better set up. Thank you Kellie for the great weekend!

"Kulshan" Tent-Site - Valley Views
Peaceful, scenic mountain views
Very quiet & peaceful. Beautiful views across the mountains from the campsite (sunrise & sunset were lovely). We ended up staying at the Loowit site rather than Kulshan as per Kellie’s kind suggestion (colder winter weather meant the path up to Kulshan was a bit icy). It worked out well for us as we were able to drive close to the site in our 4WD (Dodge RAM). I was a little confused by the instructions on Hipcamp for the pit toilet, but then discovered that a small pit toilet (covered by a wooden board) had been dug a short walk from the site which was actually even more convenient!
Would definitely stay here again. It was a great base for visiting Winthrop for the balloon roundup, only about a 20ish minute drive. We even had some mobile reception (T-mobile).
