Rushing Creek Waterfall Site
Beautiful site, amazing hosts!
Our stay was incredible! I have backpacked and camped for years all over California, Washington state, Oregon, Colorado, etc. and our stay at Amber's ranks among of the best and most beautiful sites I have camped at. We stayed at the waterfall site which is so secluded and beautiful. It has a fire ring right on the edge of the water and the flowing water provides a serene ambient sound. We found that the site was so well shaded by the trees that we remained cool even in the summer heat.
This site is also a but a quick walk over the swimming hole...speaking of this must be one of the BEST swimming holes in the Mid-Atlantic area. Amber and Larry told us all about how it is a 40-ft deep limestone quarry that sits atop a mountain spring that constantly fills it will crystal clear, fresh water. The sunlight on the limestone crystals in the water causes it to take on that iridescent blue color. The temperature of the water was so refreshing and we enjoyed swimming, floating on the rafts they have, and even taking some tours around in their peddle boat.
Above all, the hosts are a kind (and adorable) family. They came by to visit us, fill our citronella torches, and chat for a bit. We felt so warmly welcomed and are already planning a return trip.

Fantastic place!
Our time at Amber’s campsite was fantastic! It was exactly what we were looking for. It had enough amenities to let our urban friends feel comfortable, while still feeling like camping. The pond was the most amazing blue color, Crystal clear, clean, and incredibly deep!

The pond was lovely, and the site had everything we needed such as the fire wood and tiki lights. The hosts were very welcoming and we felt right at home. Would recommend anyone to check this place out!

Waterfront Cabin at The Oasis
Excellent Stay
Host was super friendly and attentive. Loved seeing the full farm including the cows that visited! Pond was phenomenal...so fresh and clean. Host provided much more than expected: grill, picnic table, solar powered lights, outdoor torches, toiletries, towels, firewood, hammock, extremely comfortable bed and water tubes with a lovely dock.
