Our property is 15 acres on The South branch of the Potomac. All of our campsites are private. We have an island to relax on, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and birdwatching. We are minutes away from Dolly Sods and Seneca rocks and smoke Canyon. I’ll being tucked in the woods and connected with nature you still have the amenities of town such as cell service, food delivery, and local shoppingLocated in Petersburg, WV. Our 15 acre river property only has a few glamping and primitive sites so everyone has privacy to enjoy time with family and friends. We have a island that most enjoy spending time on watching kids fish and swim or just relaxing sitting in the river looking at North Fork Mountain and Dolly Sods.

Private Yurt - Camping in Oct.
The yurt was exactly as described/pictured. It was prepared perfectly for our arrival. All bed linens were provided and fresh/clean. The furniture/decor were a perfect fit. The space was very inviting/much larger than expected. The outside area provided a nice quiet place to sit around a fire. Chairs/fire wood were provided. There was also a picnic table/a small grill w/utensils & chairs for the little deck area. String lights were a great touch to the outdoor area. They add a touch of ambiance but also provided a nice light source to an otherwise dark area. There was a port-a john located close to the yurt/site just steps away. (Close but not too close) It was very clean/served the purpose. The site area is secluded/quiet. Also dark. We did bring flashlights! We used them to walk to the bathroom/needed them in there. The driveway down to the yurt definitely requires a 4x4 / AWD type vehicle! Things we brought: Fire starter, Flash Lights & Extra Blankets. A small propane heater ended up being provided for our use however, we had already planned for no heat, and for it being cold. As much as we appreciated the heat source, we ended up not even using it. We just ended up using the extra blankets we brought. Matt was very responsive prior to booking. He answered questions prior to the booking & checked in prior to our arrival. He also made some recommendations for some places in the area to eat. We would recommend this. It was something new for us/unique. We loved it.
