I grew up near Harpers Ferry and walked the Appalachian Trail a few times. When searching for a house to buy, my wife Joyce and I were looking for something country. This is the perfect place! The Wood Thrush became my favorite song birds after living here. We have eaten breakfast and watched the deer come in and there is a hawk's next near the property line. There is so much to share like this. What an amazing spot in the woods to enjoy! Learn more about this land: We live in a somewhat secluded woods with a backyard, firepit, and basement restroom made available to you. There are several places to pitch a tent in or out of the trees. We are located 20 minutes in the country from Historic Harpers Ferry and Appalachian Trail. Contact us early enough and we can make arrangements to pick you up at the Harpers Ferry Train Station if coming off the trail. I had a gig in Charles Town, WV and was looking for a safe place near town to throw down a tent afterwards. This spot fit the bill perfectly. It's a nice, wooded backyard with a few different tent sites to choose from and the hosts, Monte and Joyce were super nice and accommodating. I will absolutely be camping here again the next time I have a gig in Charles Town.
