Come stay at our 37 acers of wooded land alongside of the Apple River. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature amongst the rolling hills. This property has been in our family for generations. Come, stay and enjoy our property as we have for over 80 years. We provide secluded campsites with easy access and parking next to each site. Enjoy walking through our park- like trails which run throughout the woods. Listen to the wildlife, sit by the campfire, or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, or fishing on Apple River, and many other nearby lakes that our town has to offer. Downtown Amery is 2 miles away from the property. Enjoy small-town attractions, such as breweries, gift, antique, and thrift shops, outdoor music, grocery stores, coffeeshops, local restaurants, and bars. You can take a day trip to many of other small towns nearby, such as: - Taylor Falls, for hiking or daily river cruises on St Corix River. Located 20 minutes west of Amery. - Balsam Lake, for shopping, eateries, restaurants, and boating. 20 minutes NW of Amery. -Osceola, take a hike and enjoy the views of Cascade Falls. Stroll around downtown's many shops located 20 minutes due west of Amery. -Marine on St. Croix, 30 minutes west. -Stillwater which is under 45 minutes west. We are just over an hour from the Twin Cities. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS- Apple River-boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Access through public landing in downtown Amery 1 mile away. Cat Tail Trail-part of the Wisconsin State trail system. ½ mile from Hoppensteadt Hills. Must obtain trail sticker. 4 wheeling, side by side, hiking. Deer Lake Winery- Deer Lake-8 miles away. Camping Under the Stars

Site 4 - White Oak

My husband and I had an incredibly restful weekend camping on Maryam's land. Her and her husband were so responsive and kind!! Site 4 was spacious & private with a fire ring and grate provided to cook on. It was a quick walk to the (very clean) porta-potty, which had an automatic solar light inside so it wasn't pitch-dark. Beautiful view of the stars at night and lots of wildlife to listen to. We're definitely planning to stay again!

Site 4 - White Oak

This spot made our weekend so fun! Maryam made sure everything was set up for us when we arrived and answered any questions we had. It was conveniently located close to town but far enough that it was quiet and absolutely adorable! The space was perfect for us and our dog. It had trails to walk through, was close to hiking spots. Everything was amazing! 10/10 would recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time tent camping! The land was secluded from other sites. The portable toilet was incredibly clean - almost looked brand new. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Small town paradise

Site 4 - White Oak

Beautiful campsite! It was great having the tent set up and ready to go. Lots of land to explore around the site, and only a 30 minute drive from Taylor’s Falls. Maryam was the kindest host and a pleasure to meet. Highly recommend exploring the charming town of Amery while you are there!

Remote Feel Close to Town

Site 4 - White Oak

Lovely site near amenities in town with remote camping feel. Lots of privacy because sites are spaced far apart. I could not see anyone’s site from ours, just woods. ☺️ The outhouse is about a 5-7 min walk down the gravel road from this site. Very dark at night, which we like so we can see the stars! 🌟 the river was about a 10-15 min walk, depending on speed & route. We enjoyed their trails through the woods. The river was refreshing for a dip but lots of murk at the bottom when you get out, so be prepared. Maryam and her family were lovely! Her family’s land is a gorgeous piece of property. The town is less than a 10 min drive if you forget anything or don’t want to cook.
