Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you into our ecosystem. We welcome you to stay and enjoy our farm and recreational area! This is an active farm as we raise cows, pigs, chickens, turkey, and fish. We graze our animals around the farm throughout the seasons. Depending on when you stay you may see a variety of farm life in different stages. Book your stay in April or May and you are bound to see baby chicks and pigs! We offer a camping space beside our three-and-a-half-acre pond that is equipped with a tiny house with electricity, an outside grill, picnic bench, fire barrel, and an electric heater for cold nights. The tiny house can comfortably sleep three adults as it is furnished with a twin-size bunk bed and a tri-folding memory foam foldable bed (75 x 25 x 4 inches). If you plan on bringing more than three guests, we recommend bringing a tent or small trailer/pop-up camper to help accommodate your trip. While you're here take a canoe out or fish from the dock, visit the diverse farm animals, and enjoy nature on a small family farm. And don’t forget to stop by our onsite farm store and purchase some food for the grill. We look forward to seeing you on The G Farm!  Sincerely, Farmer Justin and Kim

Camping with Cows
Great Place to Connect with Nature
Justin and Kim’s farm has always been a welcoming place to stay. Justin is very accommodating and he took us through the process of his farming. He showed our two girls lots of animals and explained how the farm worked. The campsite is very clean and the cabin is small and cozy. Our girls loved playing card games in the cabin. The dogs are beautiful, friendly and protective. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Camping with Cows
Loved this campsite! Beautiful secluded location and the tiny cabin was perfect after we had been tent camping a few nights and kept us out of the rain. If you're an animal lover you'll love all the cows and the 3 friendly pups! Hosts were also super friendly upon arrival, definitely recommend stopping here. Just be aware that the toilet on site is an outhouse that is honestly not in the best condition. It wasn't very clean and the smell was terrible so it's best to just pee in the grass and there's a gas station down the road with a bathroom that worked for morning stops and grabbing coffee etc. We ended up going to the Harley museum down in Milwaukee the 2nd day and since the drive was far (1 1/2 hrs) we didn't make it back for our 2nd night but we enjoyed the 1st night and would stop again if we ever drive though WI again. Thanks!

Camping with Cows
Justin, the farm, and his dogs were wonderful. I'd definitely recommend getting the farm tour, fresh eggs, and the firewood available. The cabin was a nice cozy place to sleep. The outhouse could use a good cleaning. (But it is an outhouse). I loved the lake and paddle boat available. We definitely will be back. Your definitely camping with the cows. The sunrise was beautiful.

Camping with Cows
Lovely, cozy site with lots to do!
Absolutely wonderful! The cabin is totally cozy and has everything you need. The pond was so relaxing, I even caught a couple fish. The dogs made my stay even more cozy - I loved hiking around the farm and observing all the beautiful baby animals. I cannot wait to come back and bring my kids!

Camping with Cows
Second time camping with the cows and had yet another wonderful experience. It’s tucked away behind the barn near a beautiful pond. Highly recommend getting the bundle of wood. The wood burned hot and long. Plus we had a couple extra pieces left over for a fire in the morning.

Camping with Cows
Camping area was close to the water for a great view. Justin was very accommodating by delivering us wood and showing us around the farm. Would return again!
