Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next High Cliff State Park adventure.
Soaring cliffs overlook Wisconsin's largest lake at this aptly named park.
Towering limestone cliffs stand watch over Lake Winnebago’s northeast shore at High Cliff State Park, providing spectacular views. Hike to the Chief Red Bird statue and the observation tower for the most impressive panoramas, then explore the forest trails by bike or on horseback before heading down to the waterfront to cool off. Summer campers can take a swim in the lake and fish for bass and perch, or else bring your boat, kiteboard, or kayak. High Cliff Campground has plenty of pet-friendly RV and tent camping, some sites with electric hookups.
High Cliff State Park draws visitors through all four seasons. Come in summer to swim and enjoy water sports, in fall to hike through the forests and admire the changing foliage, or in winter to snowshoe, snowmobile, and cross-country ski. Camping is possible year-round.
