Cottonwood Lake Campground

You’ll absolutely adore this heavily wooded campground (and the scent of pine trees)! Cottonwood Lake is a pretty darn remote place, so you’ll only have access to the basics out here. The lake is nearby, but don’t roll up to this campground expecting a waterfront site on which to pitch your tent. Not far away, though, Cottonwood Lake is a great spot for panfish and bass, and there’s a boat launch nearby. Plus, this is a fairly small campground, so you won’t be battling the crowds. Just be sure to roll up early if you’re set on camping here—all of the sites are first come, first served!
