Wonderful time
32 ft travel trailer · With kids
We really had a great time here. The spot was magical and the hospitality was top notch. Marie and Chris were great and made out stay wonderful. Our daughter loved roaming the property and playing with the dogs, puppies and other animals. The location was quiet with a great fire pit to make the evenings great. We would recommend this spot to anyone who wants to explore northern Minnesota.

Paradise Perfect
17 ft travel trailer · With pets
When we arrived we were greeted by Chris & he made us feel right at home! We have 2 lively dogs. Takes them awhile to warm up to new situations. They had been in the car all day. Chris offered to kennel their dogs so ours could burn off energy. We were so grateful! And, he kept us informed during our stay. The campsite was spacious nestled in a group of trees. All the comforts of home were provided. A grill, fire pit, chairs, and a picnic table. The campsite was spacious and set apart from their other sites. With acres of open land & trees to soak up mentally! Solitude is the plus👍 Both Marie & Chris texted with us keeping us informed of directions & other stuff. We didn’t get to meet Marie but she was so open & friendly in her texts we were sure that’s how she would be in person. They’re located about 40minutes from Ely. So, a nice location!!! Thank you!!!!

Tent
The property is spacious and offers very private sites with all the amenities (grill, campfire pit, picnic table, and an offer for anything else you may have forgotten). Plus there are farm dogs. They did not linger, but I got to pet them when I arrived, a real plus.

Peaceful
10 ft pop-up camper
We absolutely loved camping on Marie's land! We had privacy and quiet which was exactly what we needed. We camped amongst popple trees with views of a hay field. Marie and Chris are the most genuine and gracious people you could meet. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. We will definitely be coming back and hope to have more time to explore the trails and pond.

Great site
Tent · Group trip
Marie was great and very abominable. She showed my group a trail that lead to some rock climbing which was fun. Amigo was great my entire party want to take him home but sadly we couldn't.
