Lower Karr Canyon Campground has campsites both above and below the picnic area. Talk about a camp sandwich! From the parking lot, carry your supplies to your choice of a number of friendly forested spots. Once camp is set up, you have all the wonders of the Lincoln National Forest at your disposal. Hike, hunt, bike, horseback ride… there’s even fun snow-related activities to partake in in the winter. The fun goes on and on!

Narrow canyon with a gravel road in the middle of it. No running water. Not a lot of traffic, but vehicles come down it late at night and early in the morning.
