We offer clear blue skies during the day and starry skies at night, peaceful large grassy campsites beside the Dumaresq River surrounded by magnificent gum and oak trees shared with native wildlife. All our campsites are readily accessible for all types of vehicles, caravans or RVs. We welcome quiet, respectful, nature-loving campers who enjoy all that Bushland Hideaway offers including fishing, swimming, canoeing, walking and bicycle tracks, photography etc. Public waste bins are available at the entrance from the main road, Campfires permitted in designated fire pit areas when the season permits - please check. Firewood is available for sale or BYO. Clean Porta Loo's or bush toilet's available at each site. Nearest dump point at Yelarbon -23 klm away. Pets considered on booking.

The river is also great for kayaking, swimming and boating and has very large areas of small rapids along river.Relax around the fire pit in the evenings and enjoy our beautiful sunsets and star gazing, in the mornings you can enjoy the sounds of the beautiful bird song. The area is abundant with wildlife, including native birds, platypus and koalas.We are also located only 10kms from Pindari Dam which is another great spot for all water based activities. We are 10kms from Pindari Adventure Park which is a great spot to take kids. We are 25kms from Macintyre Falls and the Kwiambal National Parks which has a number of beautiful walks you can enjoy. Ben Falls, Goat Rock, Reedy Creek Winery and Zappers Winery are all close by as well.Campers must stay within the designated camping area whilst on the property.We have provided a fire pit for your enjoyment and can arrange firewood to be available upon request. Campers must be fully self sufficient and take all waste with them on departure.

Once home to Greenup School, the land is rich in history – the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind. Based in the middle to explore the Goondiwindi region and surrounds. Our peaceful, non-powered campsites have plenty of room for singles, families and groups. We cater for tents, caravans, RVs and camper trailers. Our sites have access to toilet and shower facilities. Your closet dump point and water is in the township of Inglewood (25klms). Where you are able to top up for your needs. Our dormitory style and family room accommodation is ideal for small and large groups of up to 50 people with shared toilet and shower facilities and a dedicated sitting room available. Fish the creek for Yellowbelly, Cod or just sit back, relax and enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife. Have a swim, go kayaking or take a walk to explore. Or why not join us for a coffee and meal at CC Cafe Thursday-Sunday! Pet friendly yes, all pets are to be kept at your camp, on leash to walk and must be cleaned up after. Generators are allowed, MUST be OFF by 8pm as a consideration to others. Our gates close at 4PM if you are unable to be in by 5PM you will have to unfortunately arrive the following day. Internet and phone coverage can very poor WELCOME TO THE BUSH.

Located 70kms from the Granite Belt. 50kms from the Coolmunda dam and 60kms from Texas. Quiet, hills with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. This is a grazing property where you can obseve sheep, cattle, and roos, and if you are lucky a few emus. In the little dams and ponds they drink from you often see ducks and other waterfowl. Gullies with ankle-deep spring-fed seasonal creeks. Are scattered thoughout the property. Pleasant to walk along, many accessed by walking or 4wd track only. Trail bikes or pushbikes welcome. There are great areas to hike, explore, and birdwatch. There is no light pollution so you see the amazing display of stars at night. At the top of each hill is a pleasant view. Nice photos to show off on fb or instagram. Campfires permitted, please make sure you put them out when not attended. Water container top-up, shower, and toilet shed available And a power point to charge phone. No internet. But if you must contact someone, do see us at the house. We now have bush dunnies at various locations. They are long drops. You're welcome to bring your pet, but please ensure they are kept on leash To camp, most people just chose a cleared spot. Popular areas are near the sheaing shed, or emu hollow. Sometimes we have pig hunters . They are down the back. Away from campers for your safety. When they are present some areas on photos are not accessable. Accessable at all times:- House paddock. shearing shed toilets showers, small dam. Hill with a view. Emu Hollow, accessable by high clearence 2wd .it is in a paddock wih pleasnt views and down the bottom is small shallow pleasant creek to sit by and watch cows grazing . Great for a family group or couple to escape the city madness. it has a long drop dunny. Both are 300 acres. If no piggers, the whole 2500 acres is yours to explore. If it rains, or you arrive too late to set up, we have a spare bed room with a double bunk sleeps 2 adjoining the shed near house $30. per night to use. You can also sleep in the shearing shed. And look at the equipent and fill a bag of manure for your garden. We have a few freindly sheep. And you can toss your food scraps to our chooks. Excursions. Coolmunda dam .40k. The surrounding area has many attractions to explore. Bonshaw Weir is only a 10 minute drive and Glenlyon Dam a scenic 35 minutes.
