The best camping near Straits State Park

Mackinac Island is a sweet four mile ferry ride where you can hit up the gift shop and exit to the restaurant. A common destination among campers is the Tahquamenon Falls (because not chasing waterfalls is so outdated). There are two huge group use areas for day use and a modern campsite with full-hookups and stacked with over two hundred and fifty spots. There are only fifteen waterfront sites so be sure to call ahead to get the site you want!
