Shadehill Reservoir is the crown jewel of the Shadehill Recreation Area, and with 5,000 acres of water to explore, you know it’s going to be a fun foray into nature. This large lake is perfect for all of your fave water activities, and there’s even a boat ramp to make things that much easier. Back on land, consider hitting up the beach for some sun and sand. Camping options include standard campsites, cabins, and even a two-bedroom lodge if you’re looking to class things up a bit. There are also some fun daytrip options in nearby Lemmon, which is home to the Petrified Wood Park and Museum, along he the annual Boss Cowman Rodeo and Tent Celebration.
