I stayed at Sara's with my two dogs and my partner in our truck camper + large tent. We met upon arrival and were directed to an entry point we could easily access with our truck camper. There were multiple campsite options, with firewood and a fire ring ready for us! One of the options we could watch the horses having a great time in their fenced space! We chose to go further back into their property that had some tree cover since it was supposed to storm. We were SURROUNDED by wildflowers- it was truly a magical experience! We had 2 bars of Verizon signal, no problems accessing this spot and loved the privacy of being tucked back into the property. Our dogs had a GREAT time playing in the fields and the mowed area was perfect for fetch! We loved it, and hope to come back soon!

We checked out Christine's space for one night before booking for a week because it was in a great location for a work event! We have a truck camper. It's an absolutely stunning tent spot. Access is walk- in so we ended up staying just in their drive way parking area for the one night, and walking our dogs up to the tent site. The site does not have good hammock trees nearby (unless you block the trails) but is nicely mowed, beautiful for a tent. We loved the views up there. They do have a trail cart to help haul supplies to the site.

I camped on Timothy's land in my truck camper, solo with my two dogs. I splurged a little to stay here, as I prefer free camping or 30$ a night or less, but used a coupon from REI for an amazing deal. And I'm SO. GLAD. I DID. You guys, this is an insanely beautiful spot. You have the vines in all directions, the sunset and sunrise are both incredible, and I even had the privilege to catch a rainbow underneath the blooming trees. It was magical. My dogs loved the large area to play, right along a creek I could listen to all night. Tim was SO kind, letting me book last minute, meeting me at the main Vineyard area and taking me down to the camping spot. I had the area to myself. I only had 1 bar of cell reception which made working a little bit difficult, but that was my only con 🤗 great use of my coupon! Highly recommend. Felt safe here solo as well.

Loved this spot! It's absolutely beautiful to see the vineyards and fields, all tucked under a beautiful tree. My dogs loved roaming around the field on their long leashes. I booked last minute and loved it. There is traffic noise and people seem to drive by on the frontage road quite fast (definitely keep any pups leashed) but definitely would and will likely book here again. ❤️

Creekside Hood River Basecamp
in Creekside Hood River Basecamp, OregonI enjoyed a second stay here, with my partner! We still loved every minute, even when the campsite was snow covered. I drive an F350 with a truck camper, and we had no issues navigating a bit of snow. In fact, it was an absolutely stunning, cozy winter camping experience.

in Creekside Hood River Basecamp, OregonThis was a great spot to park my truck camper! The babbling creek was delightful, with a nice freshly mulched walking path around the property and some landscaping coming to life! Even in the winter I did not sink in any mud (I drive an F350 with a 1200lb camper on top). I was able to turn around in the space as well, but a travel trailer would do best backing in for sure! I was able to reach the electric by the road, which was a life saver to my solar system in these Oregon winters. 10/10 can't wait to stay again ❤️ I camped in a truck camper solo, with my good dog.

Sleepy Bear
in Duplicate3, AlaskaMy mom and I stayed here for just one night before a flight out of Anchorage. We LOVED this tiny cabin! Darell went the extra mile with drinking water available/coffee in the morning, clear, well written directions including wifi and nearby hiking recommendations. We had planned to have a campfire and Darell made sure there was firewood and supplies ready for us. The view was SO beautiful! Bear spray was available and the cabin had a lot more space than it looks! I personally was SO excited about the incinerator toilet! I didn't find it loud at all but it does have a humm, quieter than my dishwasher at home for sure. Seriously next time I'm in the area, I'm going to choose this location for a base camp! Both my mom and I loved it! 10/10 highly recommend.

I stayed at this campsite with my dog Chloe Rue for about 2 months, while helping in the area as a traveling health care professional, in my 28 foot travel trailer. I absolutley loved it ♡ The location is amazing, close to Columbia but within in a small community. I felt at home, able to do some work on my camper and plenty of room for walks with Chloe, with a church yard across the road that has an awesome lawn and pavillion. I felt 100% safe as a solo female. The electric hook up is 12V, unable to support air conditioning but I used a generator with no issues. McKenzie is super nice and very accommodating! I highly recomend this location at Starry Pines! Happy Hipcamping!

Melinda and Dan are AMAZING hosts. I absolutely loved staying here, and felt like I found a sanctuary during my transition into life in Vermont. There are walking paths that I enjoyed with my crazy dogs, watching the sunrise and sunset from the picnic table was outstanding. I accidently drove all the way up to their house instead of pulling into the campsite, and they were awesome in directing me to the right spot (it's the spot that looks exactly like a campsite with the fire pit, nice lawn, and picnic table). They offered potable water and the outhouse smelled surprisingly great and was very clean. My dogs are a little bit crazy with us just moving here from Oregon, so even though it's fine to have them off leash I kept mine on leash; and they provided stakes to attach them to as well. This is such an amazing spot, with the best views, a gentle train horn in the distance in the evenings, sunsets and sunrises over the rolling hills... yeah. 10/10 score from me! 100% recommend this awesome location.
