Pitch your tent at Cloverleaf Campground and it will be your lucky day!
This small camp is situated on the shore of a whale tail shaped nook on Lake Roosevelt. Don’t forget your bathing suit, the swimming hole here is fly. Speaking of fly, if you bring your binoculars you can watch the bald eagles soar above you. Drive in or boat in, up to you. There is a boat dock available for boat campers, but no ramp. After your all-day fishing fiesta take a nap in your hammock and end the evening with some good old fashioned BBQ and beer. That’s the luck of the Cloverleaf Campground.
It’s a small, tents-only campground. There are only 7 sites, but we stayed for two nights and only one other site was occupied the whole time. It’s right off the road, which makes it easy to find, though it was a little loud sometimes. There were plenty of trees so the sites were fairly private. There’s a swimming area with a dock, and lots of beach to walk along. It was lovely!
