Peaceful location even though close to the highway. I only stayed one night but enjoyed my early morning walk down to the river. Very pretty with early morning fog and reflections along the water.
Warm welcome from Norm to this truly beautiful location. Absolutely loved the rustic set-up; clearly put together with a lot of love for their family history and natural beauty.
We absolutely loved our stay! With beautiful views, access to a veggie patch, water / power, fire wood on request, lots of room + creek swims & fishing. We have two kids who wanted to extend our stay as they loved it so much.
We will certainly be back :)
Lovely views and very quiet despite being next to a main road. Flat site and not on top of one another. Very close to Merimbula for groceries and 9 minutes from The Sapphire Aquatic Centre if you fancy some exercise and a swim. We were on an unpowered site but with access to tap water which is perfect if you have solar power. Also rubbish, recycling and the all important dump site. It's close to a creek teeming with fish and there is the use of a solo kayak. There is a herb garden for campers use. There are quite a few flies so bring spray. I recommend the Eden Whaling museum for a fascinating insight into how orcas worked together with the whalers to catch other whales.
The whole experience. Very friendly hosts and Millie the JR loves a cuddle. Big sites, really easy access and great location between Merimbula and Pambula.
Absolutely loved our stay at Millingandi Station! Camping riverside was fantastic. The location of the farm is great, and waking up to the sounds of the local wildlife and the stunning natural scenery was really peaceful. We found the campsite to be well-maintained and the sites very decently spaced out. It was our first time using Hipcamp, and it has certainly set the bar high 🥰
Thanks Jodie and Brett for having us!
We originally booked the top paddock as we were unsure if our van would make it down to the river as people had mentioned it could be tight. But after arriving we went down and saw how incredibly beautiful it was, we knew our small pop top getaway supreme would have no issues. So we called Brett who was so helpful and he checked if any bookings. There wasn't so we moved down to Riverside and we had it to ourselves the first night. We were so happy we stayed for extra nights and honestly our doggo loved swimming in the creek. The view was spectacular and the light at sunset is just divine. We saw pelicans feeding in the morning and many other birds. Fish jumping out of the creek and it was a dream. Loved our stay. Brett was so good he brought us a fire pit and responded to us on all our questions very quickly. Great service.
We loved our 2 night stay at Millingandi Station and would definitely stay there again. We ordered firewood and a fire pit for our site which Brett delivered with a friendly smile with his side kick Millie the dog who would call in every afternoon to say hello. Jodie was also very responsive with messages which made it easy to find.
We loved Millingandi Station we stayed in the paddock the sites were huge.I really loved the little touches of the fairy lights at night and vegetable garden was a real treat.
Cool little spot to spend the night, good vibes from other campers. Came and went with my dog and wasn't hassled by anyone which was a pleasant experience!
The powered site set up did feel like a caravan park, but more spacious, we were close to the highway but were lucky to only have neighbours on one side of our camp. Found a cold shower down by the river & the garden bed was a nice touch. The sites were well maintained too
I traveled with 6 dogs for a competition, 4,400km and 8 campgrounds in 11 days, Millingandi Station has been the most welcoming and friendly stay we had.
Simple farm stay, easy access and definitely dog friendly. We loved the sunset with the lambs. Thank you for having us
