Have a whale of a good time with a caravan holiday in this NSW coastal town.
Overlooking the coast in the southern reaches of New South Wales, Eden is a fantastic spot for nature lovers, particularly if you're fond of whales. Popular activities include everything from heading out on a Twofold Bay whale-watching expedition to learning about the majestic creatures at the Eden Killer Whale Museum. There's even a Killer Whale Trail that takes drivers to five spots along the Sapphire Coast, each related to the region's history of whale hunting. Most of the caravan camping options in town are in holiday parks situated along the shores of Twofold Bay and in the nearby community of Merimbula, north of town. That said, you'll also find caravan camping in the nearby South East Forest National Park, a popular spot for bushwalking, as well as at a number of smaller campgrounds, caravan parks, and farm stays across the region, both in the bush and up and down the coast.
