Stunning location. Private and peaceful site. Host was friendly and very helpful. Decent phone coverage on the campsite too. No coverage in the gully.

Absolutely loved this place. Secluded camping with easy enough access for our camper trailer to our particular site which was picked for exactly this reason. Many sites with easy 2wd access. So much to explore in this property including 4wd tracks, great walks to the river and the caves. Fantastic views and the soaring wedge tail eagles were a regular sight. Highly recommended and would be my first pick when returning to this area.

Hillside is very scenic property with a large variety of campsites. There are many walking, 4wd and mountain bike trails on the property that are all clearly sign posted. We stayed at Bow river camp that had plenty of shade and easy access to Bow river to cool off. The walk from Bow river down to Potatoe gully is very pretty and well worth it. The Outback 4wd trail to Hamburger hill lookout is great. Dave escorted us to our camp and pointed out all the trails and points of interest. Dave is an excellent host and enthusiastic about his property and was keen to get our thoughts about our stay. Communication was excellent.

One main area for groups other area creekside , both great flat areas surrounded by creek and white ceder/sheoak trees,no water in creek Feb, still great tho and quiet, mountains all around,could spend days here, thank you Ben, coming back very soon as not to far away

This is the second time we've stayed at Beelisco and loved it just as much, maybe even more. We were lucky enough to get a demo of the frames in the hive and eat honey straight from the frame. Great spot for the kids and the group is already talking about when we'll back again!

We had an amazing experience camping at Bow River! The campsite was absolutely perfect – surrounded by trees and under a beautiful starry sky. The scenery was stunning, with lush flora and even kangaroos walking right next to our campsite! The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, assisting us with setting up the BBQ and getting the fire going. In the morning, he even brought us a gallon of water, which was much appreciated. We also took a short 1km walk to explore the beautiful caves nearby. The river was close, though a bit muddy with not much water, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. I had a fantastic time and can’t wait to return and explore more of this beautiful place! Highly recommend!

Scenic and peaceful. We stayed one night and saw no other people, just kangaroos and wonderfully colorful birds including King Parrots and Tawny Frogmouth. We had a great chat with the host before we left.

We stayed up at Eagle Ridge, the stars were absolutely incredible, and watching the many wedgetail eagles circle over the gully was amazing. Definitely recommend exploring the sand-filled caves along the caves walk through Potato Gully. Dave was a great host, and a top bloke.

The sites are enormous. Great if you don't want to be packed in like sardines with other groups. Very picturesque. Really good hiking options. The river is very accessible. The wood sold on site is very good value as well. My dog really loved it here too.

Staying at Bow River Campsite was a great weekend getaway for my partner and I (and our 2 dogs)! There is so much to explore, a beautiful river to cool off in and lots of wildlife passing through, all hours of the day. David was super friendly and really helpful, even providing portable toilets at all sites, and fresh veggies grown from his wifes garden. We would certainly stay again, and would definitely recommend to others

David was an amazing host and extremely friendly. David greeted us upon arrival and gave us some home grown tomatoes for us to use during our stay. David was fantastic and provided us with an IBC of water so that my wife and family could use our portable hot water system to shower in. I highly recommend the camp grounds and you couldn't finder a better host. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Weekend Trip to Beelisco Honey Hipcamp

Beelisco Honey Hipcamp Stayed for 2 nights in the larger campground with our caravan (off grid) on this gorgeous property. Ground is very level, plenty of room, and shade on hotter days. Dog friendly with our 2 pooches loving their walks to check the horses and land. Hosts are awesome. Honey is produced here so be sure to pick up some when you stay. Delicious. Highly recommended.

2 nights at Hillside Camp on Bow River

We stayed at the Bow River site, it was huge well maintained area, lots of space for kids to run around. Dave is a great host, he escorted us to our site and stopped off at a few places on the way to tell us about areas we should check out while we are there and kindly gave us some beautiful fresh cucumbers and tomatoes. We spent most of our time relaxing at our camp site or splashing about in the river. Beautiful place to stay, heaps of wildlife, awesome caves, amazing night sky's and so peacefully quiet. Kids are already excited to get back and explore around the area even more. Can't wait to return for a longer stay.

The ultimate Farm Solitude Camping experience. If you want to get away from it all and relax in a secluded Campsite surrounded by beautiful Native Bushland or explore miles of trails, gullies, caves, Flight Springs Creek and the exquisite Bow River, take some time to camp at Hillside, which is a remote 2000 acre working cattle property situated 23km west of MERRIWA, 17 km off the Golden Highway, adjoining the Goulburn River National Park. All sites are in secluded area's far away from each other but at busy times people may pass by some sites to access the river. There are plenty of walking trails and for the enthusiastic bushwalker, the Bow River winds its way 7km down to the Goulburn River through the National Park with its gentle flowing stream and rock pools nestled between sandstone cliffs of caves with open area's. There is an abundance of wildlife to see. All sites are pet friendly, but pets must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Campfires are allowed when there are no restrictions. Cut firewood is available on request $20 lots, cash only. 4WD and High vehicles are recommended as tracks have rocky outcrops and some areas of loose sand. Some sites can be accessed by 2WD. The Bow River area is strictly 4WD (Low Range) access ONLY as it is extremely steep with loose gravel and rocky outcrops. AWD (All wheel drive) vehicles will not get back out. Outback 4WD tracks are now open for campers to explore as well as Hidden Valley, which has walking trail access to the Bow River. "Gully View Campsite" is the closest site to the property entrance. Great for overnight stays. It can be set up as a communal campground for larger groups. Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. *Most Campsites now have toilets. Phone Service is very limited in this area. If you email a request, it may take a few hours for us to reply. We also do Vinyl, Canvas and Leather repairs during your stay in most cases. WARNING: There are many areas of cliff edges and shear drops! Children must be supervised at all times while exploring these areas. There are also dams at or near some of the campsite areas that could be dangerous if children wander off exploring alone.

Kamameja is 705 acres of mountainous wilderness located in the Upper Hunter region of NSW, near Jerrys Plains in a remote location with approximately 22 km of gravel Commission access road that winds through some stunning mountain ranges. Please note you need to pass through private property and national park to reach our location - shut all gates that you come through, respect national park rules and drive to conditions. We recommend accessing our property by 4wd only as the road is narrow, not regularly maintained and not suitable for large vehicles or caravans. The extensive trail network is available to ride or walk and are included in the camping fees. For the gravity junkies MTB shuttles can be booked as an extra on checkout and the timing of these need to be organized with the owners.

We only run two campsite's here, the main site and the creek site but you can book in extra people on your booking to have a group camp with you. We have firewood available to purchase in extras. Large roomy grassy ALL FLAT level campsites, so great to get away camping with friends or family. Beelisco Honey Hipcamp camping spot is set on 300acres located in the beautiful valley of Baerami Creek and surrounded by the amazing mountain views of Wollemi National Park. We are located just off the Bylong Valley Way, so a great spot to spend a night or two if travelling through. There are some amazing mountain views and a very tranquil peaceful camping spot. Tar sealed road all the way to the front gate and then only 150metres in on farm to your campsite on a very well-maintained road suitable for ALL vehicles. We have wide gate access to suit all vehicles/trailers of any size to go in and out and all sites are grassy and level. Great spot to relax, chill and take in the amazing country air and surroundings, relax by a fire, cook marshmallows or a camp oven feast. Walk down to the edge of this campsite and listen to the creek trickle past, go bushwalking, listen to the birds and watch the Kangaroos. Of a night you will be amazed at how many stars you can see, it is just beautiful, so don't forget to look up. Please put in ‘Beelisco Honey’ into google maps to see how far we are from you. Our farm is a family run business with Husband, wife and 2 young boys, we run horses and cattle all year round and grow Lucerne hay on a few large flats around the farm.
