Only 25 minutes from the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail, Endor is the perfect mountain hideaway to map out your day. Visit farm gates, take a tour of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail and indulge your taste buds at some of the regions finest food and beverage establishments in the region. Located on the Batlow to Tumbarumba road at Deep Gully Bend (The Old Mill) site entrance. Endor is only 2km from the village of Batlow with off grid facilities for wild camping. Nestled into steep hillside and surrounded by Alpine woodland, Endor is home to a large variation of wildlife including the endangered Greater Glider and other possum glider species. Wombats roam at nighttime along with kangaroo, wallaby and deer migrating when in season. Powerful Owls and other bird species in the parrot family are a spectacular sight along with morning & Twighlight Finch performances. Endor is a primitive camp site with cabin style accommodation. There are two bunkers which are set 25m apart and each bunker can accommodate 2 people Max. Basic single bed set up with basic linen as we recommend you bring your own temperature rated sleeping bag for seasonal Camps. Located on Batlow Road you will experience some road traffic noise and log truck activity during peak hours in the morning and afternoon. A small reminder that you are still close to civilization. Campfires are allowed during the winter season and each bunker has a fire pit. We don't offer cooking/kitchen facilities as we would prefer our guests to engage with the local eateries during their stay to support this important economy and enjoy the flavours of the region. Our aim is to provide a comfortable bed in an alpine off grid setting for those who seek an experience in nature.

In the 3 years we have lived here we have transformed what was once a sheep paddock into a permaculture garden. Offering this retro caravan accomodating two guests. Campers will have access to both a shower and private toilet throughout their stay. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a campfire in the fire pit provided, don't forget to look up and enjoy some amazing star gazing. Cootamundra is a lovely town to visit, there are a number of great cafes and bakeries to enjoy along with plenty of parks and walks to explore. The Cootamundra scenery is just simply something else. The native tree’s guiding you along your path throughout National Parks and along dam banks will provide you with an insight into not only the beautiful countryside, but also the areas animals as well.
