The hot shower and flushing toilet are outdoors. There is indoor and outdoor dinning table and large fire pit, that overlooks the creek flats. Easy access for 2WD, limited phone reception with Telstra.

The eco-village is built around a giant tipi, which contains a pizza oven and a bar. There’s even a warm shower and a clean and smell-free composting toilet. Glamping indeed! Owner Jean-Francois meets you at the carpark at your designated time, and leads you on a short 400m stroll through a snowgum forest to the village. The premise of the village is to have as minimal impact on the fragile alpine environment as possible, while still being able to enjoy the great outdoors. Talk about kid heaven! Just the idea alone of sleeping in a tent off the ground is enough to ensure a high level of excitement for the whole family! Combined with the tipi; a box full of games including: jenga, cards, frisbee and finska; a giant hammock; fresh home-made pizza for dinner and toasted marshmallows for dessert, all guarantee the greatest family camping trip of all time!

Sleep in our lovely vintage caravan on the hill top overlooking beautiful 15 Mile Creek valley and Middle Creek. Enjoy mountain views and amazing sunsets. Have a camp fire in the fire pit and the watch the abundant wildlife.We are situated on 50 acres of bush land. Sleeping arrangements: 1 double bed and bunks. Upper bunk is ideal for kiddo weighing 20kg or less (bed rail can be supplied). Fitted sheets are supplied but please bring own pillows and doona etc. If sleeping arrangements inside caravan are unsuitable for group of 4 adults, feel free to bring your tent or swag. Bring an esky and ice for you food and drinks. Here you will have access to rubbish/recycling facilities, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery). Enjoy the nearby King Valley wineries, rivers and creeks or simply kick back at camp and watch the Roos and cows in the paddock below. The caravan is ideal for a couple or small family. The track up to the campsite is 2wd accessible in dry weather for capable drivers. The caravan is set up with lights and a USB charger. There is a BBQ set up for you to use and basic pantry items (oil, salt, pepper etc) there is a lovely fire pit with logs bench seats but probably worth packing your camping chair. We very much look forward to hosting you and are happy to help you out with ideas on places to swim, eat, fish, bush walk, bike ride etc.

The Wilderness Retreat is popular with couples as well as larger groups of family and friends, school camps and study groups. The open-plan kitchen and living room, with a huge dining table and wood stove for heating is a perfect spot to relax, share a feast and warm up after a day exploring the Alpine Region. Outside, there is an outdoor kitchen for BBQing as well as a wood-fired pizza oven, outdoor fire heated bath, and campfire. You can explore the acres of pristine bush on the property, or venture further afield for fishing, bushwalking, mountain bike riding, or snow sports higher up in the mountains. The guesthouse is off-grid, with solar hot water, and a combination of solar and hydro power.
