    A 67-acre bush property surrounded by forest, with several peaceful camping sites for self-contained campers. The area is abundant with flora and fauna, and is thankfully recovering well after the bushfires of December 2019. Your host is Loretta Parsley, a locally known elder and custodian of the Walbunja country and Yuin people, and she will share her love of the area and local history with you. She is also an artist and offers Aboriginal Art Classes and Boomerang Design Workshops - book one during your stay for an enriching cultural experience. The nearest beach to the property is Depot Beach, a 10-minute drive away, a beautiful cove with some lovely nearby bush and coast walks through the Murramarang National Park. The nearest river swimming is Shallow Crossing, with crystal clear waters, also just 10 minutes away. There are also some well-established bushwalks on the property if you aren't wanting to venture out. Clyde River Berry Farm is on the way to Shallow Crossing, a great day out for the kids, where you can pick your own berries (when in season) and have their berry ice cream. Plus the famous East Lynne Pie Shop is not far away - try their apple pies! Batemans Bay is also just a 15-minute drive south, the closest large township for supplies, cafes, restaurants and the beautiful Clyde River entrance.

The walk down to the river was amazing, a nice sandy area with shallow water perfect for our little dog (and a great spot for young children) very affordable in price and fire wood was provided.     Quiet, Secluded and a beautiful location. Only 2 other sites in use so basically the valley to ourselves. Fairly challenging to get our 18’ van in and out given the wet and slippery conditions and overhanging bushes but we managed it unscathed. Beware it took us 1 hour from Milton to gate and then another hour to campsite. No phone coverage. So 5 hour trip from Sydney including stops.

    A beautiful farm where we could relax, enjoy the spectacular sunrise and sunset, and commune with the friendly, happy farm animals! Our kids loved the farm, and 4WDing to the river was a highlight for them. Tricia and Rainer are fabulous hosts, and the property and facilities are very well-maintained. Recommend paying for the option of a hot shower if a hike to the river for a wash isn’t your style!

    What a beautiful space! We were lucky enough to have the camp all to ourselves. We were a last minute booking and Jodie was very accomodating. Completely peaceful and close to so many great offlead dog beaches. Waking up to kangaroos and kookaburras never gets old. This camp is truly dog friendly and we all enjoyed it and this one will certainly be on our regular list!

    We loved the peaceful bushland setting with an abundance of wildlife visiting us, kangaroos and all kinds of birdlife, The property was well maintained with plenty of slashed grassed areas to camp on, plenty of shaded areas as well as full sun areas depending on your needs. Jodie was a lovely host and greeted us upon arrival and really easy to deal with and nothing was to much trouble! Would highly recommend the Hundred Acre Woods for a visit and we have already booked in for our next stay.

    We loved our stay at the truffle farm! Tricia was a wonderful and very gracious host, who greeted us on arrival with a map to explore down to the Shoalhaven river. The camp area itself is well maintained, a lovely open pasture set a ways from the farm itself which is lovely and private. We had a 4WD so travelled down to both beach fronts on the map, and had them completely to ourselves- slow flowing enough for a toddler, and our paddle board ☺️ Tricia invited us along for the animal feedings every night, and the animals were very friendly. Our two year old loved it. We had a great stay, paid a very reasonable price and had a wonderful long weekend ☺️

    Great location, but significantly overpriced. I visited during the week when it wasn’t too busy, which was a bonus. However, during peak times, the high price doesn’t feel justified for a caravan park. While the facilities were decent, I wouldn’t return solely due to the cost.

The property is ideal for those keen on paddling, fishing, walking, listening to the many bird species, or simply absorbing the beautiful energy of this natural retreat. Please be advised that it is approximately 45mins to an hour to the entrance of the access rd, from either Milton, the beginning of Wheelbarrow rd or Monkey Mountain rd. It is also roughly the same coming via Western Distributor from Kings Highway Once on these roads a vast part of your drive will be on dirt, and may be a little testing in wet weather, however you will discover some much natural beauty when you arrive at your destination Please also note that there is no reception in this area, the closest place for phone reception is at Pigeon House Mountain. In the event of any emergency the caretaker does have STARLINK to assist with contacting medical authorities or family.

IMPORTANT: STRICTLY NO CHECK-INS AFTER DARK 7pm in the summer is the latest... NO EXCEPTIONS. I also have a strict no-noise after 9pm policy. I offer a safe environment to rest for the night or stay for a few and enjoy all that the local area has to offer. Located off the highway, some road noise may be heard. Only 10 minutes from amazing beach fishing at Durras and beautiful Long Beach known for its kayaking and paddle boarding. There is so much to see and do. Climb Pigeon House Mountain or cruise on the Merinda up the Nelligen River over a seafood lunch...you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival, you will be able to choose a spot on the property that you wish to set up. All campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet and take all waste when they go. Strictly no 'digging a hole.' When booking please note that one site is big enough for your van or tent, the extras button is for extra guest/children in your tent or van. If you have guests with another tent or van and vehicle they need to book their own site The pubs and clubs are a near convenience, or you can just kick back by your own pit fire and enjoy the stars in the safety of The Hundred Acre Woods.
