Discover the rainforest, waterfalls, and scenic lookouts of the Blue Mountains.
Just a 10-minute drive from Katoomba and an 80-minute drive from Sydney, Wentworth Falls is one of the most picturesque towns in the Blue Mountains National Park. From here, you can hike the Wentworth Falls track, one of the park’s most spectacular trails, which affords views of the eponymous waterfall and the Jamison Valley. Right nearby, the Katoomba area is home to the headline acts of the Blue Mountains, including the Three Sisters, the Grand Cliff Top Walk, and the Scenic World Railway, Skyway, Cableway, and Walkway. There’s no camping in Wentworth Falls town itself, but you can pitch your tent at one of the national park campgrounds or check into the tourist park in Katoomba, which has spacious powered sites for caravans and RVs and cabin rentals. Alternatively, there are some unique Hipcamps dotted throughout the park, whether you prefer minimalist bush camping or glamping in a geodesic dome.
