Each site is equipped with a sprinkler system to keep the dust at bay and a water tank for cleaning, drinking, and showering. Rest assured, your campsite is secure behind a coded pad-locked gate in a very safe region, allowing you to explore the surrounding tourist attractions worry-free, if you need to leave your belongings/van/trailer while you go on your adventure. The main road to Kakadu is only a few minutes away. Seasonal waterways are a short stroll away where you might also get to see the local Buffalo. Pets are permitted. A holding pen and pet sitting can be arranged by prior notification. 1 spot is advertised for your privacy and space, however more than happy to cater for group bookings. Campers must remove own toilet waste. Access to toilet and shower can be arranged.

Firstly named aptly “The Escarpment” for the truly beautiful ridge that runs kilometers along the block boundary, providing a perfect back drop to individual camp sites. Purpose built van pads spaced far enough apart to offer privacy and peace have been positioned with the Caravan in mind. Whilst waiting for the wet & the long grass to let us onto the flats, we have set up an initial 10 sites that are all year round accessible. These are a bit closer together as will be described in the description. Also a bit cheaper so happy campers all round! Ereluk - The true experience! Over The Creek - some of the best camping sites along the base of the escarpment are just waiting to be found. Yearly we fix up after the wet giving 4WD access to these hidden gems. A little more expensive but worth the extra for the views alone. On The Creek - Our most sort after sites! We have 3 sites only that are situated on the best part of the creek this block has to offer. Deep holes that are great for a swim with water so clear we drink it. Truly amazing and worth the extra $ for a sweet location. It is mostly 4WD access and all vans must be self-contained as no amenities, water or power are available at these sites. Those looking for a bush experience with plenty of activities to do during the day will not be disappointed.

We are close to boat ramps where you can access excellent fresh and salt-water fishing and crabbing. We are close to both Berry Springs and Litchfield National Park where you can find stunning waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife to enjoy. The Sandpalms Roadhouse is a two minute drive away. They offer fuel, a cafe style menu, with special nights for a roast or a woodfired pizza, They are a licensed, family friendly establishment. There is often wildlife visiting our property so keep an eye out whilst enjoying your time at camp. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting around your campfire. We also have a toilet and shower available for campers. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash upon arrival and under your control at all times. Due to not having an area waste removal program in Bynoe it is appreciated that you take all waste with you. This property is located 48km from Darwin City, 25mins from Coolalinga Central, 30mins from Palmerston, 15mins from Berry Springs Nature Reserve and Tavern. 15 acres of cleared natural bush land. Very private and secure yard with fencing and a caretaker on the property. Plenty of wood for fires on the cool dry season evenings. The creek may be flowing depending on the time. The property is 40 acres of carefully maintained virgin rainforest. Our flora and fauna are exactly the same as nearby Litchfield National Park, unfortunately without any waterfalls. We have cleared about 10 acres of undergrowth leaving the trees for shade. Animals and other wildlife are abundant with the lilly pond on our front lawn being the only permanent water other than the Finniss River that they have in the area. We have hundreds of wallabies, goannas, frill necked lizards and plenty of bird life. Our pet Red Tailed Black Cockatoo "Butt" attracts the local wild ones, because she is happy they trust us so you can get closer to them than usual for photos. We have toilets and showers set up for our annual fishing competition which we hold for charity each Queens Birthday weekend. There is also a large wood fired BBQ in the same central area. The fish filleting table and boat cleaning area is also nearby. The local kites and other raptors including sea eagles and if you are lucky may see a wedgetailed eagle come in for fish scraps. Croc and dingo area - be aware!

Nina's Ark is a Wildlife Sanctuary where many animals roam free around the homestead. We have two Safari Tents that sleep two guests. Due to the nature of the sanctuary our property is unfortunately not suitable for children under the age of 5. Interaction with Kangaroos is guaranteed for our visitors and the listed price includes a guided animal encounter, nocturnal tour and dinner where we share some stories of our lovely sanctuary with you. We have a Wildlife Hospital and a Gift Shop so guests can purchase memories of their stay. Eftpos is available in Gift Shop. The Sanctuary is a private place and is not open to any tour companies. Our resident wildlife feel safe and free here. Your stay with us will feel like you are in a wildlife movie. Your wildlife encounter is filled with wonderful knowledge about local wildlife. Your private Nocturnal tour is not to be missed. Our dinner is an outdoor BBQ with plenty of food. Our animals are always excited about their new visitors. It is essential you message the host prior to submitting a booking. You can pitch your tent at our base camp, where you'll find hot showers and composting toilets. 4WD Access only. Come and experience cultural tourism, including history, bush tucker, viewing wildlife. Our own traditional lands have many wonderful aspects of natural beauty including rivers, billabongs, sprawling wetlands, and seemingly endless open plains. It's highly recommended that you book a Tag Along Tour. Our guided tours, are arranged to suit YOU and can include Welcome to Country Ceremony, Traditional Dancing, Fishing (catch and release), Bush tucker, Hunting and preparing food for a meal (fresh skinned wallaby), Birdwatching, Wildlife spotting and swimming. Please note that there are dangers for tourist here, including animals, getting lost and high temperatures. We have 5 sites in total which are fairly close to each other (5 km maximum). Green Acres is located in Bynoe, just over an hour and a half drive from Darwin in the Northern Territory. We have five spacious powered sites and plenty of non-powered sites available. We are close to boat ramps where you can access excellent fresh and salt-water fishing and crabbing. We are close to both Berry Springs and Litchfield National Park where you can find stunning waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife to enjoy. The Sandpalms Roadhouse is a two minute drive away. They offer fuel, a cafe style menu, with special nights for a roast or a woodfired pizza, They are a licensed, family friendly establishment. There is often wildlife visiting our property so keep an eye out whilst enjoying your time at camp. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting around your campfire. We also have a toilet and shower available for campers. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash upon arrival and under your control at all times. Due to not having an area waste removal program in Bynoe it is appreciated that you take all waste with you. The property is 40 acres of carefully maintained virgin rainforest. Our flora and fauna are exactly the same as nearby Litchfield National Park, unfortunately without any waterfalls. We have cleared about 10 acres of undergrowth leaving the trees for shade. Animals and other wildlife are abundant with the lilly pond on our front lawn being the only permanent water other than the Finniss River that they have in the area. We have hundreds of wallabies, goannas, frill necked lizards and plenty of bird life. Our pet Red Tailed Black Cockatoo "Butt" attracts the local wild ones, because she is happy they trust us so you can get closer to them than usual for photos. We have toilets and showers set up for our annual fishing competition which we hold for charity each Queens Birthday weekend. There is also a large wood fired BBQ in the same central area. The fish filleting table and boat cleaning area is also nearby. The local kites and other raptors including sea eagles and if you are lucky may see a wedgetailed eagle come in for fish scraps. Croc and dingo area - be aware!

Firstly named aptly “The Escarpment” for the truly beautiful ridge that runs kilometers along the block boundary, providing a perfect back drop to individual camp sites. Purpose built van pads spaced far enough apart to offer privacy and peace have been positioned with the Caravan in mind. Whilst waiting for the wet & the long grass to let us onto the flats, we have set up an initial 10 sites that are all year round accessible. These are a bit closer together as will be described in the description. Also a bit cheaper so happy campers all round! Ereluk - The true experience! Over The Creek - some of the best camping sites along the base of the escarpment are just waiting to be found. Yearly we fix up after the wet giving 4WD access to these hidden gems. A little more expensive but worth the extra for the views alone. On The Creek - Our most sort after sites! We have 3 sites only that are situated on the best part of the creek this block has to offer. Deep holes that are great for a swim with water so clear we drink it. Truly amazing and worth the extra $ for a sweet location. It is mostly 4WD access and all vans must be self-contained as no amenities, water or power are available at these sites. Those looking for a bush experience with plenty of activities to do during the day will not be disappointed.
