Ereluk - Our personal name sake nestled between Jodetluk and Nitmiluk - Private, secluded, “Primitive Camp Sites” nestled around a 400 acre property in a unique Australian bush setting. Firstly named aptly “The Escarpment” for the truly beautiful ridge that runs kilometers along the block boundary, providing a perfect back drop to individual camp sites. Purpose built van pads spaced far enough apart to offer privacy and peace have been positioned with the Caravan in mind. Whilst waiting for the wet & the long grass to let us onto the flats, we have set up an initial 10 sites that are all year round accessible. These are a bit closer together as will be described in the description. Also a bit cheaper so happy campers all round! Ereluk - The true experience! Over The Creek - some of the best camping sites along the base of the escarpment are just waiting to be found. Yearly we fix up after the wet giving 4WD access to these hidden gems. A little more expensive but worth the extra for the views alone. On The Creek - Our most sort after sites! We have 3 sites only that are situated on the best part of the creek this block has to offer. Deep holes that are great for a swim with water so clear we drink it. Truly amazing and worth the extra $ for a sweet location. It is mostly 4WD access and all vans must be self-contained as no amenities, water or power are available at these sites. Those looking for a bush experience with plenty of activities to do during the day will not be disappointed.

Jean & John's Bynoe Stopover

The property is 40 acres of carefully maintained virgin rainforest. Our flora and fauna are exactly the same as nearby Litchfield National Park, unfortunately without any waterfalls. We have cleared about 10 acres of undergrowth leaving the trees for shade. Animals and other wildlife are abundant with the lilly pond on our front lawn being the only permanent water other than the Finniss River that they have in the area. We have hundreds of wallabies, goannas, frill necked lizards and plenty of bird life. Our pet Red Tailed Black Cockatoo "Butt" attracts the local wild ones, because she is happy they trust us so you can get closer to them than usual for photos. We have toilets and showers set up for our annual fishing competition which we hold for charity each Queens Birthday weekend. There is also a large wood fired BBQ in the same central area. The fish filleting table and boat cleaning area is also nearby. The local kites and other raptors including sea eagles and if you are lucky may see a wedgetailed eagle come in for fish scraps. Croc and dingo area - be aware!

Additionally, we are neighbours with Barramundi Adventures Darwin, the famous land-based fishing spot in Darwin (plus they have a bar within stumbling distance). Our campsite features ample privacy with spacious sites surrounded by natural bush, perfect for star gazing and bush walking. Each site is equipped with a sprinkler system to keep the dust at bay and a water tank for cleaning, drinking, and showering. Rest assured, your campsite is secure behind a coded pad-locked gate in a very safe region, allowing you to explore the surrounding tourist attractions worry-free, if you need to leave your belongings/van/trailer while you go on your adventure. Come and experience the beauty and serenity of Berry Springs Bush Retreat – your perfect getaway in the Northern Territory. We have three camping sites, one for tents and two for caravans/motorhomes/campertrailers. Campsites 1 and 2 are both are tucked into the bush and very private. Campsite 3 is the last on the road so is still private, but has a shallow bush round-about/pull through to camp in. Perfect for quick stop or terrible reversers :-) We are pet friendly too, but there is plenty of livestock nearby, so keeping your pet with you at all times is recommended. Perfect for unhooking the van and exploring Darwin, perhaps treating yourself to a night or two in the City or leaving the van behind whilst you explore the waterfalls at Litchfield or take a fishing charter at Dundee Beach. Enjoy the many tours that Darwin has to offer whilst not having to worry about parking and the safety of your van. This property is located 48km from Darwin City, 25mins from Coolalinga Central, 30mins from Palmerston, 15mins from Berry Springs Nature Reserve and Tavern. 15 acres of cleared natural bush land. Very private and secure yard with fencing and a caretaker on the property. Plenty of wood for fires on the cool dry season evenings. The creek may be flowing depending on the time. Typically the water dry's up from June or July to December. We look forward to sharing our property with you and making your stay as relaxing and enjoyable for all.

Green Acres is located in Bynoe, just over an hour and a half drive from Darwin in the Northern Territory. We have five spacious powered sites and plenty of non-powered sites available. We are close to boat ramps where you can access excellent fresh and salt-water fishing and crabbing. We are close to both Berry Springs and Litchfield National Park where you can find stunning waterfalls, swimming holes and wildlife to enjoy. The Sandpalms Roadhouse is a two minute drive away. They offer fuel, a cafe style menu, with special nights for a roast or a woodfired pizza, They are a licensed, family friendly establishment. There is often wildlife visiting our property so keep an eye out whilst enjoying your time at camp. Enjoy listening to the sounds of nature while sitting around your campfire. We also have a toilet and shower available for campers. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash upon arrival and under your control at all times. Due to not having an area waste removal program in Bynoe it is appreciated that you take all waste with you.
