The cabins have ensuite facilities and we have 3 rooms available in the pub which all have a queen bed and a single bed. All rooms have a TV and air conditioning. Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome. Firewood available at an additional cost or BYO.We look forward to seeing you.

This property is host to three permanent residents, an onsite care taker who resides in one building, and the cottage occupied by our onsite massuese, not to mention our community Red dog who is very social......... so pets with the same mentality are very welcome! This property provides our guests local produce grown or sourced from local farmers. Fresh, filterred drinking water can be purchased on site. For our onsite campers........at this stage of the properties development, we ask all to be self contained for sanitary and power needs. The property offers many shaded areas and a beautiful swimming hole to cool off in the warmer months. Here at the windmill we cater for all social events, with the appropriate communication we can organise a day of fun with workshops ranging from blacksmitthing and permiculture, to brethwork and meditation events, to couple retreats.........Bookings are essential, limited space and conditions apply. Our property is a 42 acre Hinterland Farm Stay. We have alpacas, donkeys, sheep, goats, miniature horses, chickens, ponies, horses, ducks, guineau fowl, geese and cows on site. Six mile creek runs through the property and we have dams off this which you can Kayak in using the kayaks provided on site. We have 3 two bedroom lodges each with their own full kitchen, shower room, queen bed, twin or bunk beds, dining area, lounge area and deck. Each lodge sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Each lodge has its own gas BBQ, fire pit, hammock and eating area outside. Each stay includes our animal encounter tour where you get to meet and hand feed the animals on the farm. We also offer pony/horse riding on site. We are located close to the Noosa Trails which are perfect for hiking, cycling or horse riding. We are also a short drive to Noosa with its beautiful beaches, shops and restaurants.

KUR Cow Farm Stay

Kurcow Farm was once known as Barnwell Farm. Coffee was extensively grown throughout the Kuranda/Myola region in the early 1890's until frosts wiped out large numbers crops in the early 1900's. Robert William Warren purchased portions of the land at Barnwell in the 1890s and established a coffee plantation on the property which was named "Downtown Farm." Dairy cattle were bought to Barnwell by William Henry Barnwell in 1936 and by 1939 he had managed to successfully establish for a dairy farmer and was advertising for a dairy hand with remuneration of 25 shillings per week and keep. Dairy cattle remained on the property until some point following World War II. It has been said that William Henry Barnwell was one of the earliest cattle farmers in the Myola and Kuranda areas to carry Droughtmaster cattle. He was well regarded as a 'cattle man' in the Myola area. Opening to public in August 2018, Barnwell Farm now welcome visitors daily from all over the world. Offering its guests an interactive, Australia cattle experience with a little adventure thrown in also and exquisite cuisine. Our accommodation consist of 2 cabins sleep 2 adult and 2 children, the room is not interconnect but fence with our private court yard for dinning. Price include Petting Zoo entry for 2 adult and 2 children, camping is permitted for inhouse guest only. tent is available for hire. Guided Horse riding and ATV tour is available daily and minimum age is 4 years old for horse riding and 6 years old for ATV. Breakfast and lunch is available on Saturday and Sunday. Sunset Wagyu BBQ offer daily.
