We are part of Noosa Hinterland, less than a km to the biggest salt lake in Australia. Walking distance to Apollonian Pub, 2.5km to Cootharaba brewery and bistro. Lake Cootharaba is at its peak, 4ft deep. It’s at the start of the Everglades, with 40% more bird life than Kakadu. It’s great for sailing, SUP, kayaking, kite surfing, fishing and swimming. There are wood fired BBQs and picnic seats all along the foreshore. Public showers/toilets too. Upon coming down Lake Flat Rd, you’ll see 4 letterboxes, turn LEFT here and travel down a private road approx 100mts, you’ll see 1 white bali flag and our Boho Wilderness sign on a SURFBOARD this is CAMP entry. We have designated camping area, fenced in, with 8 sites, all numbered. You could have a view across open paddocks/dam of our horses and goats. Or the other view of the forest. NOOSA EVERGLADES are calling you to visit. Camp sites are in horseshoe layout. Fires are ONLY ALLOWED in fire pit. FIRE WOOD AVAIL ONSITE Check in at 1pm and check out is flexible, on agreement with host. Please message owner 1hr prior to arriving. Ben Lomond Station is an 1800 acre working cattle station 25 minutes south of Bowen and 35 minutes north of Airlie Beach on the Whitsundays. We border onto Eden Lassie Creek which has tidal ocean access for saltwater fishing and there is an abundance of estuary fishing and crab spots available. We are a nature based camping area. Cleared shady camping spots are available for fully self contained campers as there are currently no facilities available so you must have own camping toilet and leave no trace. Access to the camping area is for 4WD only with caravans off road and high clearance. Firewood is available for a small fee or you can collect any fallen timber yourself. There is a ban on cutting down any standing timber even it is dead. There is plenty of room to run for the kids and dogs though we do ask that your pet not annoy our cattle or other campers. Ben Lomond station has an abundance of flora and fauna such as burdekin plum trees, mango trees, wallabies, kangaroos and bird and fish species.

We are pet friendly, "ONLY ONE DOG PER SITE" and must remain on leads or runs whilst on the property. Please note that animals are not permitted in any of the undercover common areas or swimming pool enclosure. We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770. Our other property is only a short walk away so we will be able to help with anything if you need it. All guests must be self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Leave no trace. We do have a few cows so dogs to be on a leash at night and please don’t let them chase the cows.Fire pits available to use, collect your own fire wood.

We have designated camping area, fenced in, with 8 sites, all numbered. You could have a view across open paddocks/dam of our horses and goats. Or the other view of the forest.
