Walk world-class trails and greet the Great Barrier Reef while caravan camping in Cape Tribulation.
Set within the Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation is a remote headland surrounded by untamed biodiversity. Plenty of rainfall from November until April keeps the greenery lush and beautiful. Cruise right into the park and get settled at a powered campsite with access to bathrooms, water taps, dump stations, and laundry facilities. Unpowered beachfront campsites with stunning coastal views are another option. The walking trails around Cape Tribulation, the world’s oldest rainforest, are unparalleled. Beyond that, the Great Barrier Reef awaits just off the coast, where caravanners can catch sight of migrating whales in July and August. Head an hour north to Cedar Bay National Park for more epic activities. Hike the Gap Creek track to find white sand beaches flanking the bay, then relax at a creekside campsite just outside the park in Rossville. Amenities like flush toilets, potable water, and a fully equipped camp kitchen can make camp feel like home.
