Buranga Farm

** We are currently on holiday and will take more time than usual to respond to booking requests and messages in general. We have a caretaker on site to assist you if required** Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main dam that offers great swimming. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens around the house, as well as a horse and house cow that guests are welcome to interact with. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of Murray Grey Cattle or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simle composting/drop toilet available.

We are part of Noosa Hinterland, situated at the start of the Everglades, more than 40% of Australia’s bird species is found here. Lake Cootharaba is at it’s peak, 4ft deep. In the rainforest, there is a large picnic table for your enjoyment, explore at leisure. We have a designated camping area, fenced in, with 8 sites, all numbered. You could have a view across open paddocks/dam of our horses. NOOSA EVERGLADES are calling you to visit. Camp sites are in horseshoe layout. Fires are ONLY ALLOWED in fire pit. Check in at 1pm and check out is flexible, on agreement with host. Please message owner 1hr prior to arriving. Hunchy Hills 4WD Bush Camping

Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. We offer two types of camping; bush sites and a Camping Pod. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. We cannot accept caravans/hybrids of any size or type. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit (please do not damage or move the bricks) and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot too if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Number of guests for bookings is for total adults (16 and over). Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.) or add on to your booking for $22ea. Travel down the gravel road for about half a km and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grassy paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. The Pod is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush. Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer. Site 2 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons. Site 3 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. Site 4 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. A seasonal creek runs through the property. We are located 3 minutes from Montville and 7 min to Palmwoods. There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

River rd ranch is at heart of the sunshine coast being only a 10 minute drive to Coolum beach and Yandina, 25 to 30 minutes to noosa, mooloolaba, Maroochydore beaches, Sunshine Plaza, bars and restaurants! Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. (unless fire bans are in place ) fire wood available 20kg = $20 (cash only sorry due to a few nonpayers) Pets are welcome but we must respect our Neighbours with horses and other campers so must be restrained at all times. Please remember pick up after your fury friends as we have other guests here we have 3 - 4 sites right on the river and another 3 - 4 sites in our paddock with a section allowing our paddock guests to have access to the river to do all activities All waste to be taken away when you leave.
