Burrum Shores Campgrounds offers well maintained grassy sites with direct access to the beach. Access to the camp sites is via a dirt track. Accessible for 2wd vehicles with decent ground clearance and 4wd vehicles. We now have our toilets and showers completed and open. We can accept bookings from caravans, motorhomes, campers, camper trailers, tents, roof top tents and swags on select sites. Please refer to the individual site listings to ensure your camping setup is compatible with your site. Grey water must be captured in a grey water tank or a bucket and can be emptied onsite as advised by caretakers. ____________________________________________________________________________ Campfires are welcome in a raised fire pit, either bring your own or use one of our communal campfire areas. Firewood and kindling is available for purchase on arrival. You will have access to our town water drinking taps to fill your water tanks and we also have a dump point on the property. All sites are pet friendly. We ask that you keep your dogs on leash all of the time. Our only rules are that you respect the property and other guests and no generators. We look forward to welcoming you to our special spot.

Come and visit us and enjoy everything the Fraser Coast has to offer. You will feel like you really are on holidays. Located at River Heads, a great getaway from it all, yet just a stones throw from K'gari (Fraser Island), Hervey Bay and Lady Elliot Island. We are dog friendly and also wheelchair accessible in the Bush Kitchen and Wallaby Wash House. Bertha the Retro van and Gertrude the Gypsy Wagon are not wheelchair accessible. Mango Lodge is a totally wheelchair accessible timber cabin which has an outdoor bath. 24 hour security access to your own private campsite. Free wifi, hot showers, flushing toilets, fully equipped bush kitchen and laundry. We have a designated area for dog lovers called Dogs Corner. There is a lovely paddock for the dogs to take in the country atmosphere and located right next to the 40 acre nature reserve with 4kms of walking trails, what better way to Escape, Relax and Unwind. 69 species of birds have been identified on the property to date. We also provide dog minding services! Photo updates supplied. Cost is $50 per day (add to your booking). All you need to do is supply your dog bed and food. Recently our guests enjoyed a trip to Fraser Island and were very impressed with the service provided. So if you love your fur baby and you still want to have a holiday experience, just come and stay here and we can enhance your stay by giving your fur babies a holiday too.

The Fishing Hut is located on our working Brahman cattle property. It is completely self contained and perfect for families. It has 3 bedrooms (one queen bed, one king bed, and a kids room with two sets of bunks) all fully air conditioned. The fishing hut sleeps 9 people, any additional guests will have to supply their own bed and bedding. Indoor kitchen including a dishwasher and an outdoor kitchen including a pizza oven and a BBQ. Sit back and enjoy the panoramic views of the Mary River and the surrounding bush land while sitting around the fire pit. We have quite a few local pubs around that are happy to take group bookings if you’d like a night off cooking. Pets are welcome but need to be kept on a leash and contained at all times. Please be respectful of the fact we run cattle and have our own dogs on the property. Your dog must stay in the area in front of The Fishing Hut. No dogs are permitted behind the The Fishing Hut where we have our cattle yards and our own dogs. The property is located in Scotchy Pocket farming district, 25 minutes north of Gympie.

All rooms have a TV and air conditioning. Shared bathroom facilities available nearby. You are welcome to use the BBQ facilities located within the caravan park as well. We have a nearby billabong which has plenty of fish and turtles. Enjoy a meal at the nearby Gundy Pub or explore the surrounding area. Bauple Mountain is 5km away which is a great spot for walking and hiking. Mary River is down the road 4km and a great spot for fishing. The national trail runs along the river and is a great spot for walks or bike rides. We have a number of horse riding camps in the nearby area as well.We have fire drums available and well behaved pets are welcome.
