Weekend Trip to Hilltop Farm, Camping and Glamping.

Could not recommend this camp enough! We decided to treat ourselves to a bit of a glamping experience for Easter and this spot was an absolute gem. The dam was perfect for our two water obsessed border collies & we loved paddling around it on our paddle boards. The set up was fantastic very quiet & private, you really don’t need to pack anything but food! Facilities were very clean & practical. The view by the fire pit was perfect to sit & watch the sun go down & there’s lots to do & see in & around crows nest. Highly, Highly recommend!!

Nice quiet spot jut off the highway. But feel like you’re secluded. Host were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely use this place as a stop over again.

Great spot, multiple sites around the farm. Great facilities with toilets, showers, rubbish, all within 50m of any site. Sheep, goats, pigs kicking about to keep the kids entertained.

Weekend Trip to Rangetop Farm

Our stay was only short, however we felt like we could have stayed forever here! Our site was perfectly perched on-top of the mountain with views of the city and water on one side and bushland on the other. The locals (horses) were very friendly and the owners of the camp were extremely accomodating. There are no toilets on site so if you are anticipating needing to go, or staying for a prolonged period, make sure to bring your own toilet. The closest town is aprox 10 minutes away if you do need, and the town also has an assortment of food and alcohol stores. Fire pits were already set up on the sites (make sure to bring firewood), and the sites are also mostly flat which makes for an easy set up. We went in early April, and there were next to no flies or mosquitos (we got to camp and realised we forgot bug spray, but not once did we think further about it) All in all, if this camp is on your list, make sure to book it!

My family loved our few nights here, quiet and felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. The hosts were lovely and easy to talk to. Having a fire was fantastic, camp kitchen was clean, they have showers, and clean seperate men/women port-a-loos. A soccer field, and plenty of space for kids and dogs to run and enjoy a walk on lead. We had a fabulous sunset. The day we left a swing set was put up for the kids, they enjoyed a quick play on our way out. We have already told our friends about this stay and we will be back.

Absolutely amazing. The property was breath taking with stunning sunset views. Nice and quiet and the perfect place to escape the city but not have to travel to far. The animals were adorable to see and have around. Tommy was super helpful and easy to communicate with. I would definitely be visiting here again in the future.

Absolute perfect views all day, peace and tranquillity, loved the bird calls throughout the day. Highly responsive to all requests, can recommend the fresh mixed eggs. Loved sitting around the fire watching the stars. No close by camp sites or campers. Great feeling of privacy. Will be back again. Thanks.

Our 400 acre property is surrounded by Amamoor, Lewis and Diamondfield Creeks providing visitors with a wide variety of flora and fauna. Bunya Grove is a working farm and offers visitors the opportunity to purchase fresh eggs, honey, fresh and frozen pork products, and fresh and frozen beef and lamb. (Subject to availability) Entry to Wagtail Way, Frogmouth Park and Cockatoo Corner are via Lewis Road, off Diamondfield Rd, Amamoor. Our 1000 acres mountain top working cattle and horses farm is only 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD. It offers spectacular Glasshouse mountains and ocean views. From many parts of the farm you have a beautiful views encompassing Malenny, Glasshouse Mountains , Bribie island, Moreton Island, Stradbroke Island, Redcliffe and Brisbane Port Site. We have a beautiful deepwater lake that's perfect for swimming, canoeing. The property is traversed by a number of rain forested creeks and ravines which are perfect for adventure hiking and rock climbing. We can also take you horse riding around the farm for a couple of hours or to the local winery if you prefer longer ride. We cater for all levels of riding. We have many panoramic campsites for you to choose from. These are suited to any one with the swag, tent, camper, caravan or motorhome. You need to be self sufficient. For those liking the comforts of home we have a bunkhouse which sleeps 10 and has electricity, water, flush toilet, shower, stove, microwave and TV. Linen is not supplied. If you are driving 2wd, or 4wd towing a caravan or a big trailer and GPS takes you through Mountain View rd., do not go that way, go through Dayboro rd. For those without transport Dakabin train station is 25 min from the farm. Pick up and drop off to the station can be arranged. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants less than 10 min away.

Welcome to 'Bares Hideaway', a 43 acre property nestled away from prying eyes in a secluded valley along the Liverpool Ranges in Grandchester. We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We also have ice for sale. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. There is a limited number of fire drums available, so you are welcome to bring your own. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. We have firewood available for sale, or you can collect free firewood off the ground. You are also welcome to bring your own firewood. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Things to do and see: The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality. Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders. Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month. Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is located between the Ocean View 1 and 2 sites and a second Portaloo is located centrally and within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites. There are no facilities at The Junction, and you MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration.
