Can easily miss it coming along the road but the owners gave clear instructions. As we arrived we were greeted by Mary the boarder collie. Without saying anything she guided us to Fraser's field and hanged around while we set up camp. Had the worst weather which resulted in flooding. The owners were nice and offered us to stay as the roads out were cut off. Beautiful field and a nice walk to the creek, guided by Mary of course. Was a awesome little relaxing getaway.

Camp grounds were great with nice big open spaces with a short walk to the creek for a swim from all sites Deans a great bloke comes around and checks everything out and makes sure your all good but also leaves you be. He even delivered some fire wood for us as we couldn't drive being in a rooftop tent setup Only one downside we couldn't move the fire pits so camp layout postion was kind of restricted to that. Not a big deal but definitely something to look into Once the plan of toilets and showers are done the place will be 10/10 Will definitely be back for another weekend Cheers guys 👍🏻

Nice grounds. Grassy with lots of citrus trees. Well maintained. Couldn't find the toilets though. They may have been in the pub that was closed. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hanger O. It was our first adventure in our new Caravan so we needed somewhere that we could just get used to everything. The entire place was immaculate and absolutely perfect for us to do this. We relaxed amongst other like minded caravaners and campers and could not fault Hanger O. It was quite and private. A strong 10/10 from us. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We will be back for sure. Great hosts.

The best camp site I've ever seen and been to. Site is better than photos make it out to be and the photos are good. Loved the privacy and the walking trails. Bins provided, which is a nice touch for something so private. Even a locked gate to enter the site. Also the site was way bigger than expected. Couldn't hear anything other than the beautiful wildlife.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

Being only 20 minutes to the sunshine coast airport it’s a great opportunity to park up your big or small touring rig to head interstate at short notice if required. This amazing property has views of mt Coolum and mt Nindery with some of the best sunrise and sunsets around. With easy access to the property we can also cater for larger caravans and big groups of people. Being on the river there is option for fishing and crabbing, we are only a few hundred meter walk to the Yandina Creek Wetlands walking trails. Camp Fires are allowed on site. Maluka Park

Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other. During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. Kayaks are provided free of charge for all campers to use in Yabba Creek. Please treat them respectfully and return them back to their launching place just below the powerlines. If you wish to bring along your own kayak, you can launch them at the walkway between campsite 8 and 9 where our camp kayaks are stored, however, cars are restricted from driving down to the water edge so you will have to carry them to the water to launch them. Please note that you are responsible for your own kayak. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). Firewood is available and can be delivered to your site by our local contractor. Cost is $20 for a generous load or $10 for a half load. The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Our names are Chris and Christine. We recently moved to Gundiah Qld and acquired a beautiful piece of land (approx. 320 acres) with about 70 acres of picturesque camping located on the Mary River. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough (approx. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful. We have some walking trails located on the Camp Grounds to take in the scenery, or for the more adventurous located behind the office are longer walking trails with spectacular views at the top. There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Great atmosphere and meals "tell them we sent you". Gundy Getaway is the perfect place to get back to basics and enjoy the peace and serenity.

To the east is Yabba Ridge with an abundance of unique animals you can see across the paddock from Yabba Creek Farm. These campsites are really hidden gems. Be sure to book early as we are gaining popularity with limited bookings available. Camps are spaced out along a manicured 300m creek frontage. There is a total of 1km creek frontage on Yabba Creek Farm for your to explore. Attractions include kayaking - provided and are free to use, hiking in adjacent Imbil state forest and wildlife watching. Platypus are frequently sighted in the Yabba creek. Lungfish can also be viewed while kayaking or snorkelling. Koalas, wallabies, gonnas and an abundance of bird life are also commonly sighted. Dogs are welcome on very strict conditions as we have farm animals including, chickens, horses and a turkey, so must remain secure on a leash at all times. Our property is located on the site of the First Kilkivan Township and was home to a gold rush in 1868 where a 73 oz nugget was discovered. Guests will have access to a portable toilet and fire pit throughout their stay. Gold is still found in and around the creek with fossicking permitted at an extra daily rate of $25 per person. As this is private property we require that all the QLD Fossicking Act rules and regulations are followed this includes having your own permit which must be supplied before fossicking is permitted. These rules include no machinery or pump operated sluices such as high banking sluices. Detectors are welcome and some great finds have been found with them including gold and coins from the 1860’s. Large groups are welcome. There are many great shaded camping spots along the creek or a large open area of about 50 acres for larger groups. There is also a year round swimming hole fed by a solar bore on the property for anyone wanting to cool down. Kids under 12 are free but if fossicking must be covered by a permit. Pets are welcome. We are part of Noosa Hinterland, less than a km to the biggest salt lake in Australia. Walking distance to Apollonian Pub, 2.5km to Cootharaba brewery and bistro. Lake Cootharaba is at its peak, 4ft deep. It’s at the start of the Everglades, with 40% more bird life than Kakadu. It’s great for sailing, SUP, kayaking, kite surfing, fishing and swimming. There are wood fired BBQs and picnic seats all along the foreshore. Public showers/toilets too. Upon coming down Lake Flat Rd, you’ll see 4 letterboxes, turn LEFT here and travel down a private road approx 100mts, you’ll see 1 white bali flag and our Boho Wilderness sign on a SURFBOARD this is CAMP entry. We have designated camping area, fenced in, with 8 sites, all numbered. You could have a view across open paddocks/dam of our horses and goats. Or the other view of the forest. NOOSA EVERGLADES are calling you to visit. Camp sites are in horseshoe layout. Fires are ONLY ALLOWED in fire pit. FIRE WOOD AVAIL ONSITE Check in at 1pm and check out is flexible, on agreement with host. Please message owner 1hr prior to arriving. CHECK IN AFTER 6pm STRICTLY AT OWNERS DISCRETION Well behaved dogs are welcome, please keep them on a leash, please add them to booking, under EXTRAS $10 each (2dogs max.) NO DOGS IN RAINFOREST. Kids can feed goats and ponies. Thank you. *** There is bore water tap at shower block. *** 2 portlaloo’s which are emptied and sanitised three times minimum daily. ***HOT SHOWER AVAILABLE * Goat feeding is at 8:30am weekends for kids, adults by request, most days on school holidays. We are a coastal village by the Lake. * 1km to the Lake, foreshore has several BBQ (wood fired) and picnic tables to enjoy. Showers/toilets available at 2 points along foreshore. Sailing club has a kiosk The Point. Open Wed-sun 7am-2. Sailing club has happy hour Fridays 5pm. Members and non-members are welcomed. * Kids and dog beach available at the kids park, at Lake (4ft at its deepest). * Boat ramp for access to lake or Everglades. A canoe launching ramp available at Elanda Point. 7mins away. If looking at tides, lookup Teewah beach for lake tides. * General Store is currently closed. * Apollonian Hotel has bistro, outdoor dining and live music. Pet friendly. Events all the time, check their FB page. 2nd & 4th FRI night 6-9:30pm OPEN MIC Every Sunday 12-3pm Smokehouse and Live Music *2km to Noosa Habitat, bistro and brewery. Hiking tracks to Harry’s Hut too. NO DOMESTIC ANIMALS ALLOWED. But ample wildlife. * 20 mins to Tewantin/Noosaville. *Pomona: market (18kms) opened Sat 7-12. Also nearest supermarket, antique bazaar, op shops, great cafes, etc. Great little country town, great vibe Saturday mornings. 😊 *Cooran: little village with big heart. Has unique shops, yoga studio, great general store. *Noosa beaches and national park 30mins. Dog walking at Ringtail creek, on McKinnon Dr.
