Want to have a unique camping experience away or sick of crowded caravan sites? Or perhaps you just need a tranquil break from the city or a weekend away from your hectic life? Cartapo Creek - Hobby Farm is suitable for on and off-road caravans, 4WD, 2WD & AWD vehicles. Suitable for multiple groups that want to camp together. We have a 35 acre farm at the base of the Mt Lofty Ranges in Hallett. To the east of us is Mt Razorback and Mt Bryan which is part of the Heysen Trail. We have a mixture of Sheep, Cows, Pigs, Alpacas, Chickens and Peafowl roaming the property. Campers will be separate from roaming livestock, however can access them easily if they wish. Downhill Run Camping

Downhill Run Camping is located due west of Robertstown at the peak of the hills, a beautiful spot for caravans, campers, tents and swags. Spanning 50 acres the campsite offers breath taking views of the entire valley and is located directly on the lavender walking trail. There is a shared basic long drop toilet located near the south site but feel free to bring self contained units or find a nice tree! The campsites are located at the top of the hills in a pasture paddock so please make sure your dogs are on leashes at all times. The 2 sites are separated by a fair distance so there is plenty of room to enjoy for everyone even with large groups. A perfect spot to pitch a tent and admire the beautiful starry nights on the secluded hilltop The Clare and Barossa Valleys are only a short 45 minute drive away if you’re interested in a day out at the wineries. Or the lovely historic town of Burra is a 30 minute drive. The campsite is also conveniently located on the lavender trail which provides great scenery walks or cycles taking in the amazing view. There is a great Pub located in Robertstown which has cold beer and meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights if you are looking to get out of cooking for the night. The post office is also a great spot to duck in for a coffee and a chat to the locals. Whether it’s the breathtaking sunrise, the stargazing, the walking trails or bumping into a friendly kangaroo or 2 this campsite will not disappoint. Important information to know before booking: - All campers must check in before 5pm. - You will be situated on a hill so please no driving or walking past the allocated safety signs. Therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times - Pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash at all times - No chainsaws allowed, firewood available to purchase on arrival - Fires are only permitted during the appropriate seasons - No dumping of rubbish or toilet waste, there is a dump point located at Robertstown - No motorbikes or rally driving - Can get windy on top on the hill on certain occasions - Strictly NO caravan or trailer access via Hills road, we will send an alternate route via point pass or Ngapala road

Edgehill Farm Stays Riverton

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Tarlee Hotel has the best meals as well. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, but please let us know a few days before arrival if needing, so we can process your order, or your welcome to bring your own. Strictly no chainsaws on our properties please. We are fully off grid camping, so generators are allowed on the unpowered sites, please respect other campers with turning them off by 10 pm at the latest. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times STRICTLY NO MOTORBIKES RIDDEN ON PROPERTY If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. Burra Creek Camping in Bright is an incredibly beautiful, rustic 5000-acre property, situated 25km North of Robertstown, just over 2 hours from Adelaide. It's suited to those with 4x4 or higher clearance vehicles, and off-road campers/caravans and tents. The camping sites here are very private, and provide large flat areas to set up. All have beautiful surroundings and views. The land here is spectacular. From morning light accompanied by birdsong, to days spent exploring the creek and the bush, to stargazing and toasting marshmallows by night, the land here offers the perfect antidote to modern-day stresses. There is (wonderfully) limited phone service here, meaning it's the perfect place for a digital detox! Two of our campsites have very basic outback long drop toilets (Wombat Flat and Creek Site), but for all other sites, campers need to be fully self-contained. It's you and nature. Therefore we ask that you please ensure the place is left as or better than you found it. All rubbish and waste to be taken with you. Important Information to know before booking: Check-in must be before 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please book for the following day instead. Plenty of fallen timber around you are welcome to collect for firewood, however, strictly no chainsaws or cutting down of trees. For your own comfort, you could take your first day of wood, so your ready to have a fire once all set up. And strictly no motorbikes, firearms, or rally driving on the property. Pets are allowed, as long as they are controlled.

Food from Thursday to Sunday. Of course a selection of natural no headache fine wines. It has a homestead and plenty of camping space, with plenty of gum trees, native tree forest, dam, olive trees and stunning views of Lynfich Valley and Barossa Rangers. Refered by many as the best kept secret. We have toilet available, water and bbq area under verandah.
