Offering 5 unpowered and 2 powered flat level generous sized secure gated sites for self contained caravans and RV's you can feel safe and secure leaving your rig whilst you explore the many attractions, fine food and wineries the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills has to offer. Only 5 minutes from local townships of One Tree Hill and Kersbrook which offer General Stores, pharmacy, fuel and hotels and 10 minutes from major shopping centres. With Para wirra National Park and Humbug Scrub sanctuary 5 minutes down the road Adelaide Hills Rutland Park RV offers an excellent location to visit the local wildlife. Excellent walking trails and bike riding just up the road in the Kersbrook forest area Adelaide Hills Rutland Park RV also offers onsite Belles Sip and Bite coffee trailer Monday to Friday mornings (except public holidays) providing freshly brewed coffee, hot choc, teas, toasted sandwiches, cakes and farm fresh eggs Local Farmer Markets nearby open Saturday mornings Due to 3 dams on the property we are unable to cater for children. Uber services our area. We are dog friendly, however pets must be on a leash at all times, dangerous breeds are not permitted due to onsite livestock and native animals. Dedicated fire pit area and firewood can be purchased on site. Fires only permitted during the no fire ban season. The property is gated with access via a coded keypad and the code will be provided once booking is confirmed. Toilets are not provided so all vehicles must be self contained, however sullage points on each site are available. Dump point can be made available for a small fee. Generators are permitted until 10 pm. No responsibility will be taken for any injury, accident, damage, theft to campers, their property or pets whilst staying at Adelaide Hills Rutland Park RV. ‘Kuntha La’ - peaceful place… We are on the water’s edge at the junction of Currency Creek and The River Murray. Our property sits within the International Ramsar Wetlands. Come and enjoy the water birds, kangaroos, spectacular stargazing and wide open skies. Bring your kayaks, explore the waterways and experience the beautiful bird-life, including egrets, herons, harriers, black swans, pelicans, cormorants, moore-hens, ducks and more. Goolwa is at the mouth of the might Murray River and the entrance to beautiful Coorong National Park, so there’s plenty of places to explore. We are currently offering space for three self-contained campers. Please note that ALL CAMPERS MUST BE SELF-CONTAINED and LEAVE NO TRACE. We do have plans to add power, water and toilets, but currently these are NOT available. There is public dump facility 5km away in South Goolwa. Grounds can be wet and soft during wet weather so please be mindful of your vehicles weight and ability to go through wet paddocks. Our property is approximately 4km from beautiful Goolwa township. Attractions include the Historic Steam Ranger Cockle Train which runs from Goolwa to Port Elliot and Victor Harbor every Sunday and Wednesday, and daily during school holidays. There are also restaurants and galleries, and a distillery. Spirit of the Coorong cruises leave from Goolwa Wharf, where you can also board the historic Oscar W paddle steamer. Markets are held every Sunday at Jaralde Park adjacent to the Goolwa Wharf. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Harry's Rockleigh Bush Camp. The free-range sites are on lovely flat camping areas amongst native trees, overlooking adjacent fields. Enjoy bird watching or walking part of the Lavender Trail which passes near camp. Relax at the communal campfire (depending on fire regulations). The camping grounds offer a generous amount of space, and great sunrises. We have available fire pits, bush toilet, and a camp kitchen with gas BBQ. BYO firewood, toilet paper, water and dishwashing liquid. Pease take your rubbish with you when you leave thanks. Pets welcome on leash. PLEASE NOTE: Due to extended drought conditions, we are currently unable to supply water. Therefore we can now only accommodate self contained campers. Children under 2 are free. Do not include them in your booking or they will be charged. Campers need to arrive no later than 6.30pm unless otherwise arranged. The property is around an hour drive from Adelaide, and Murray Bridge is only 20 km away. Please note: We ask that you treat all of nature with respect. For example the use of drones, climbing or breaking trees is not allowed. Adults are responsible for their children at all times.
