Amazing visit. This powered camp was clean with very helpful amenities such as toilet and shower. Kitchen was well supplied with utensils, cutlery and crockery if you needed. Plenty of room for our multi generational family trip. Nice relaxing vibe with hammocks to chill out in and soak in the natural serenity. A proper piece of paradise, and literal 5 minute walk to the beach.

Stayed here for one night, and it was great! Would definitely recommend. Short walk into town, beach and general store. Can get a coffee at the cafe next to the general store, and close drive to the Bruny island cruises terminal. Kitchen has anything you would need, a treat if you are camping. Same with the bathroom, was fresh and clean!

Great spot to stay. Comfy little barn with everything I needed, but not overdone with things I'd never use. Perfect alternative to traditional motel or tourist park. Feels like staying at a mate's place. Located conveniently close to facilities of Adventure Bay, but feels tucked away and has a great view of & short walk to the ocean. The hostess, Bri, was very easy to deal with and very helpful. I will most probably be back with my dog next time. Outside, the property is spacious and well fenced. I would highly recommend Funky Barn.

We loved camping there. Beautiful surrounds, safe for the dogs being fully fenced and super friendly host. The walk down to the beach is a must! Will certainly come back!

What a great spot! Beautiful views, generous hosts and a nice quiet place to sleep. Don’t miss checking out the cave, watching the wallabies and seeing (and hearing) all of the birds.

I loved my stay in the Funky barn. The perfect spot for some R&R. Set in a beautiful slice of Bruny coast with birdlife and views. Loved the unspoilt beach and coastal walks and looking at the night sky from the loft bed. Bri is very hospitable and helpful with lots to share on the local area. I'm sure I will stay again. Thanks Bri!

We loved staying here. Amazing views with plenty of privacy and a nice quiet location. We stayed down near the bottom fence line on the flat spot - ideal if the weather’s good and it’s not windy (unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side this time). The other spot between the barn and the road would be more sheltered in windy weather. Bri was very friendly and welcomed us warmly (along with her two beautiful Great Dane companions). I followed the track down to the rock shelves and managed to catch a nice salmon, and also a couple of squid! We’ll be back!

We loved our stay with Bri.. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and bumped as always into as always a great bunch of people who were visiting the site. Loved staying at Bri's, we were lucky enough to be able to book both the barn and the camping spots - allowing 3 of us to camp while having some creature comforts inside for cooking, etc.
The walks to the sea cave and neck beach were wonderful. Will definitely be back, what a spot!

Base Camp Tas was such a great camp spot. All the facilities made it feel like luxury camping with hot showers and fully equipped kitchen. The site had some narrow spots so it was a little tricky to manoeuvre our big car in but luckily it wasn’t full so we had space available. There’s also pademelons and wallabies galore, and you might see a devil if you’re lucky. Steve and Alana were excellent hosts, very friendly and easy going. We will be back!

Tanya’s hip camp is fabulous. It’s our second time here. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Lots of upgrades since our last stay, a beautiful bbq area and a second fridge. We would highly recommend this camp!

Perfectly situated and pretty remote but absolutely beautiful location.
Very kind host Steven showed us what to expect and also opportunities for travelling etc
Every evening he was interested in what we had done during the day and also treated the wallaby’s and also Jack the wombat with some food
The place is very clean and very good equipped kitchen and fridge etc
Nice place and nice host I would recommend this camping, we were travelling with only a tent and stayed 4 nights
