Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Our paradise is located on Bruny Island, with forest mountain views to the west stretching to the south and east across Adventure Bay to Tasman Island and Peninsula. Camp is just a short walk to Quiet Corner and Two Tree Point, two iconic spots on the Adventure Bay coastline. Fluted Cape and this whole area are spectacular for nature lovers. And you'll be sharing the space with resident wallabies and native birdlife. This little block has plenty of sun and a shady fern glade for hammocks, flat spots for camping or vans, with a flushing toilet, hot shower and laundry facilities. The camp kitchen is located in a cosy north-facing cabin with a lounge, BBQ and fire pit. Pet's are welcome, but we ask they be kept under effective control at ALL times - see rules. Adventure Bay shop is 1 km away. A well stocked general store selling firewood bundles and fuel. Our 1/4 acre block is on a no-through gravel road with some holiday shacks not 100 metres from the ocean. The areas below the on-site caravan offer privacy, while the site on the driveway is level and perfect for RV parking - and has ocean views. You will hear Mopokes and Banjo frogs (Pobblebonks) as you gaze up at the clear southern skies around the campfire. Local National Parks and beaches are first grade and can be accessed by bike, on foot or vehicle. Just a few steps from camp you can watch the sun and moon rise over Adventure Bay and you may spot an Aurora.  Swing in your hammock in a secluded fern glade surrounded by birdlife, between expeditions to the fabulous culinary and nature destinations on Bruny.  Our ethos is to use reclaimed materials wherever possible with minimal impact on the land. A kitchen and lounge now exist in a sunny, insulated cabin and we have a comfortable bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine.  Our land is on very special country between where ancient Mt Mangana rises up from pristine ocean beaches. We ask guests to please respect the land itself, including the resident wildlife and our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum after dark. Dogs are welcome, but please read further details, and it's preferable they're kept on a lead.

Awesome place to stay on Bruny
Tent · With kids
Tanya’s hip camp is fabulous. It’s our second time here. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Lots of upgrades since our last stay, a beautiful bbq area and a second fridge. We would highly recommend this camp!

Amazing Bruny Island Accomodation
3 ft travel trailer · With kids
What a gem! We were unsure about where to stay on Bruny Island with an RV but the listing looked too good. The site was everything it was described as and more. Super cool, well supplied, immaculately clean, and easy to find. Extra points for Tanya who was super kind and easy to reach via the provided phone number for questions. We had the very pleasant surprise of wallabies? Joining us for the camp fire. Beautiful surrounding close to adventure bay general store and beach. Easy to access all other Bruny islands sites.

Didn’t want to leave!
With pets
I loved every second of this place. Waking up and having my brekky and coffee just taking in the view of the yard. Having everything to yourself such as the kitchen, shower etc. And in a convenient location where you can explore all that Bruny Island has to offer which is a lot! Have already told people to book here when they come for a visit. It was so hard to leave today 😭 But on to the next adventure. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience
