3 nights at Derby Bush Bath Retreat

What an awesome spot! Loved the camp, loved Derby. We ended up staying at extra night! The camp was beautiful and peaceful, but I only 2 mins from town. John was an amazing host - helping us out when the kids got sick, taking them for buggy rides and just being all all round nice guy. Would highly recommend this camp :)

We only stayed for one night as we were only passing through the area but we enjoyed our stay. We were the only ones camping at the time and enjoyed some local wines and cheese by the damn with our 2 collies. Romina's communication was great and we would stay there again (maybe next time for longer).

2 nights at Bohemian Beach Retreat Tiny House

We loved it!! So private, and Falmouth is an absolute treasure of a spot. Hosts were absolutely lovely - generous, thoughtful, communication was clear and concise. 'Boho' was clean, warm and so well thought out. The extra little things like the fire being set, and then covered with plastic (it was raining when we arrived), so the wood was not wet and easy to light that set our hosts apart. Thankyou so much Mike and Sheena for sharing with us.

We loved our stay at Old Mac’s. The sites are spacious and grassy, the toilets are excellent and the location is close enough to all tourist spots in Launceston. Lucas is so lovely and approachable, a joyful wave as he does the nightly site check. A gorgeous lake on site, close to a cafe and restaurant and firewood and fire buckets for sale/hire, So affordable for what we get - puts many other parks to shame. The donkeys who loved carrots were a great highlight for the kids. Thanks again guys,

It’s so peaceful. You don’t have the crowds like Derby. It’s a shame that we couldn’t go and explore the river crossing to get to the Branxholm/Derby track. There were campers right where it is and we didn’t want to intrude on their privacy so had to drive to Derby to ride. We’ll definitely be back though.

There is clean and well maintained public toilets two hundred metres away. Keep under a metre, ensure the ground is cleared around and attend until extinguished. Pets are welcome, especially dogs 👍 There are private walking trails on the property. St Helens is under fifteen minutes away, Bay of Fires 25 minutes. Scamander 5 minutes. The famous St Helens bike trails are under ten minutes drive or accessible on your bike via the back trails. Ride direct to the trail heads! There is fantastic nine hole golf course at Scamander. Stringybark is a quiet 80 hectare rural property in the North East of Tasmania, featuring bush, native grassland and 4 beautiful lakes. Although it feels like the end of the world, surrounded by bush and wildlife, we're only 30 minutes drive from Launceston CBD, Ben Lomond National Park and Josef Chromy's winery and only a 20 minute drive from Launceston Airport, making it a perfect base to explore Launceston and surrounds. You need to be fully self contained and there are no amenities. But there is a beautiful lake with jetty to swim in. We live on the property, just a stone's throw from the camp site, so if you ever need anything, just shout out. Dogs are permitted, however strictly on lead only to protect the wildlife and our sheep. If your dog gets very excited around wildlife or sheep, this may not be a suitable stay, since they might come right up to your camp. Please note, that Stringybark is a working property. While we'll always respect your privacy and keep noise levels to a minimum, please be aware that we do work on the land and that tools, building material and other rural property stuff can be present at any time (never on the campsite though). All pets are welcome and the camping area is fenced. Bridport, Scottsdale and Lilydale are a short 15-20 minute drive. While mountain bikers paradise Derby is a 35 minute drive.

We are a family-owned vineyard tucked into the tiny town of Rowella, with 5.5 hectares under vine. We're offering a tranquil spot amongst the vines for self-contained campers, where you can sit back, enjoy a sunset, and soak up the serenity and views. We are Julieanne and Ashli, a hard-working mother/daughter duo growing 8 varieties of grapes to produce excellent cool-climate wines. During your stay, you are welcome to enjoy a complimentary wine tasting in our century-old cottage. You can also purchase a bottle or two to savor on your trip. The property is conveniently located just 40 minutes North of Launceston, and within close proximity (less than 10 minutes walk) to three excellent Tamar Valley cellar doors, the Lavender House Perfumery, and Rowella Cherry Farm. Just 20 minutes away is the Platypus House, Seahorse World, Beaconsfield (Beaconsfield Mine and Heritage Center), and Beauty Point, and we're 30 minutes from Narawntapu National Park entrance and beautiful Green's Beach. Across the river, you can take in a little history at George Town and Low Head.
