This memorable place is anything but ordinary. The Barn, c1935, at Eden Farm on the outskirts of Cygnet has been renovated to create a fantastic place from which to explore the Huon Valley and beyond. Spacious 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms lets you bring the whole family along to create long lasting memories of time spend together. Roaming through the orchard, roasting marshmallows, feeding the Highland cattle, goats, sheep and alpacas. Only 45 minutes away from Hobart.

The Barn from early 1900 has been restored to create a touch of luxury  to your rural escape. The Barn is spacious with cathedral ceiling in main living space and exposed beams in the bedrooms.
 It's an inviting colonial eclectic space that makes you feel right at home.

Semaphore Farm

Semaphore Farm is a 400-acre property with convict history, bordering the Po historic site. It is a private timber reserve and a working forest farm. We have a combination of native eucalypt forest and plantation, and we grow hay and our own beef. 

We have many walking and bike trails through 150 acres of forest and pasture accessible to campers. 

The campsite has spring water on tap, a hot shower, toilet, rustic camp kitchen, wood stove, gas BBQ, level sites, and a campfire when permitted.  Tent sites are flexible so you can choose your own space within a 2-hectare area, while Level pad sites are limited. 

The Port Arthur Historic Site and a safe swimming beach are within walking distance and Safety Cove and Remarkable Cave are only a 5-minute drive away. Longer walks, including the Three Capes tracks, are easily accessible. 

Launch your boat nearby to access good fishing or fish for squid off the Port Arthur jetty.

There is plenty of wildlife to see at night and birds during the day. You might even see our resident Wedgetail Eagle! 

Dog-friendly (must be under control/on a lead/contained).

White Hill Nature Camp

Nestled in a peaceful country setting, no noises just nature. Only 7kms off the Arthur Highway. A perfect base to visit Marion bay, Bream Creek, Eaglehawk Neck, Dunalley and the Port Arthur historic site. Nearby popular southern beaches, Sorell township and historic Richmond vine country.Our property is located on a no through road, neighbouring Woodvine Nature Reserve. We live on-site and we're delighted to offer 3 sites & hopefully more in the near future. Our sites suit self-contained campers. Dogs welcome.We have plenty of tracks suitable for bushwalkers & mountain bike riders.The Paddock: Approximately 6 acre paddock, mostly flat and a couple of trees for shade.The Fire Pit: Located near our house, fire pit with seats. Tree swings for the kids. Not suitable for very long caravans.

Ryelands Farm & Vineyard

**Please note that it's $20 per person per night. 

Small farm and vineyard at Macquarie Plains in the Upper Derwent Valley, southern Tasmania. The property is 380m from the junction of the Lyell Highway and the Gordon River Road. It has 450m absolute river frontage on the River Derwent (no riparian reserve). The river here is freshwater, potable and a renowned trout water, (licence required). Three kilometres from the village of Gretna.

4WD Preferred. 2WD need to assess river access.
Campers need all own amenities and leave no trace. Dog friendly but please see rules, we have livestock and so dogs need to be well controlled at all times. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place (see rules around campfires). 

Due to hydro generation activity, the river may slowly rise or fall up to 1m (often without rain) so please be careful around the water.

Bomana - Bushland Delight with Breathtaking Views

Bomana is a 36 acre property in Carlton River, on the way to the Tasman Peninsular. It boasts stunning views of Fredrick Henry Bay, kunanyi and neighbouring rural landscapes. The owners live on site (top corner of the block). We are offering two opportunities to camp/van/caravan on this delightfully private land. When you book, you can be assured that the property is yours alone, making it a quiet and private experience. The unpowered site gives you the opportunity to enjoy the land. The powered site additionally gives you access to a bungalow which has a couch, TV, bed and dining table, as well as a very basic kitchenette with a toaster and kettle. There is also a power lead if you just want to run power to your own set-up. Campfires are a must - nothing better than watching the sun set around the campfire.

This is a leave no trace property that suits campers who bring everything they need (including a camping toilet) and remove everything they bring. Good access for 2WD vehicles and caravans.

 Lots of opportunities to capture photos of sensational sunrises and sunsets.

The property is 3km from Primrose Sands Beach (great for safe swimming). It is 4.5km from Carlton Beach (great for surfing), 37km from Port Arthur and 13km from Sorell. Hobart is 45km.

We have goats on the property so pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis, please ask before booking with pets.

Kanyini Camp (self contained only)

Just a short turn off from the Great Eastern Drive between Triabunna and Swansea, with easy access to Maria Island and Freycinet National Park, Kanyini Camp is a beautiful and serene piece of land backing on Butlers Ridge Nature reserve with sweeping country views.

We are one of only a few farms on a no through road and offer a unique experience of peace and serenity while being close to some of the major attractions the East Coast of Tasmania has to offer. 

We are located only a 10 minutes drive to one of the most beautiful (secret) beaches in Tasmania and 15 minutes drive to Triabunna where the ferry departs for Maria Island.

We live on site (a few acres away across the rivulet) and are delighted to offer 10 opportunities for self-contained campers to camp on our private land and share our passion for the area. 

This is a leave no trace property that suits self-contained campers who bring everything they need and remove everything they bring. Well behaved dogs and humans are all welcome.

We are farmers and this property is where we live and work. Please respect our requirement for self-contained campers only. This includes caravans and campervans with toilets on board. If you have a camper trailer with portable ensuite tent and toilet, please contact us PRIOR to making the booking.
