So Good Farm

10 sites · Lodging, Tents200 acres · Wyndham, NSW
We purchased our 200-acre property after it was devastated by the Summer 2019/20 bushfires. We are new to farming and are learning to live on the land. The property came with sheep which we are also learning a lot about, we also have an extremely friendly kelpie named Sage. We are interested in the idea of becoming organic farmers, love to do our bit for the environment, and want to live a more sustainable lifestyle. We grow herbs and vegetables, have a few fruit trees, and can't wait to plant more. We have fallen in love with farming life and want our farm to be a place of learning and enjoyment and can't wait to share the little place we call home. So Good Farm is situated 20 minutes west of Pambula Beach on the Sapphire Coast. The property is surrounded by trees and is filled with an abundance of wildlife. There is a creek that runs through the property and a spring feed dam. Plenty of walking tracks throughout the hilly property with amazing views at various spots, especially the peak of the property, if you are up for the challenge. The property also backs onto a national park. The closest town is only 5min away where you can pick up food supplies and fuel.

Riverview Kiah

2 sites · RVs, Tents60 acres · Kiah, NSW
Riverview Kiah is offering one campsite nestled on a very quiet part of the Kiah/Towamba river. To minimize impact on neighbors and make your stay more enjoyable, there is only one campsite offered on the whole property, so apart from the owners you will have it all to yourselves. You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower. We offer access to water via a 1000l pod that is close to the campsite. This water is drinkable and may be used to fill jerry cans/ wash etc. We just ask you to please be frugal with usage. The campsite is situated on a grassy knoll a mere 30m away from your own private beach, which is ideal for fishing kayaking and swimming. The Kiah / Towamba river is well renowned for its excellent fishing. Live bait or soft plastics are best. Live bait can be sourced at nearby Nullica beach or alternatively, frozen prawn's, pipis or salted pilchards also yield success. Some of the species that call the river home are, Flathead, Bream, Luderick, Whiting, Estuary Pearch, Jewfish, Mullet and Flounder. If you bring your kayaks, canoe or roof top tinny the river is very picturesque with unique photo opportunities and an abundance of wildlife. You can head upstream for a way but if you're feeling up to it, it's about a 2.5-hour paddle (at a slow steady pace) to the mouth of the river where Davidsons whaling station is located, as well as the view across the bay to Eden. If you time it right, you can go and return with the tide. Two kayaks and life jackets are provided with all bookings so that people without their own equipment are able to explore the pristine waterway. There is a large firepit near the river that may be utilized as long as there is no total fire ban in effect. If you have your own firepit that can also be used but there are to be no fires on beach or bare earth. Firewood can be provided at an extra cost, (please select in extras, 1 bundle will last 2 nights on average). Directions will be provided 48 hours before arrival; you are welcome to head straight to camp although if around I will meet and greet you upon arrival. If you would like to bring your pet, please contact us to discuss first.

Tiny Home Immersed in Nature

1 site · Lodging50 acres · Nethercote, NSW
Atop rolling hills and bordered by pristine national park, our 50-acre property offers a tranquil retreat. Discover our stunning waterfall or the weir ideal for reading by or meditation. In addition to native birds, kangaroos and wombats, our property is home to friendly cows, donkeys and goats that you can interact with. Ideal for nature and animal lovers alike, our retreat provides access to hiking trails and is in close proximity to world class mountain bike trails. You'll be staying in a brand new tiny home which is actually pretty spacious considering it is a tiny home! You'll be sleeping in a comfortable queen size bed with views out every window. There is a central bathroom that doubles as an ensuite with a composting toilet (don't worry, they make them pretty good these days and there is no smell). The well-equipped kitchen (gas stove and electric oven) offers ample bench space and large windows on every wall that immerse you fully in nature and provide breathtaking views everywhere you look. But if you don't fancy cooking, your host can cook up a delicious wholesome meal for you. The living area includes a comfortable sofa and the home features reverse cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort. Outdoors you'll find a huge deck that wraps around one side of the tiny home where you'll be able to enjoy a bath under the stars in full privacy. There is also a BBQ and a firepit. You'll note there is no mention of a TV because there isn't one which means you can fully switch off! We do have books and games to choose from though. The tiny home is located on our 50 acre farm but is completely private from the homestead - you won't be able to see us and we won't be able to see you. You have complete access to wander around the farm, visit the weir or the waterfall or enter the national park which is our next door neighbour for a hike or some bird watching or a swim in one of the many natural pools. We have a long driveway which is unsealed however you won't need a 4WD to get here. The property is located amongst rolling hills which means there are a lot of slopes on the property. It is not suited to anyone not stable on their feet. The dry composting toilet doesn’t flush - apart from that it’s just like a normal toilet! Instructions are provided alongside.
