Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water. Site #2 has access to our composting toilet. You'll need to bring your own chemical toilet for Site #1 (near) Boatramp site. Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). 200 acres of scenic farm paddocks with seasonal creek, and forested hills adjoining the Bournda National Park. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats and if you are lucky an echidna or deer! Horses also live here and are separate from the main camping area. We accept only a small number of campers to ensure everyone has a few acres each and peace and quiet to enjoy the natural surroundings. Sites are generally more secluded as go from 1 to 10. Sites are walking distance to a composting toilet. Good phone reception everywhere. Dogs welcome. They can go off leash if supervised during the day. No loud music. No loud parties. No motorbikes. No generators. Please keep noise to a minimum. 5 mins drive to Bournda NP and Lagoon/Island/Beach, more beaches, Tura Beach Woolworths, petrol station. 10 mins drive to Merimbula, Magic Mountain and Tathra. Firepits provided. Firewood; We can bring you a pile of firewood once your set-up. Or if you BYO chainsaw we can let you know where to cut wood.

Kiah Wilderness Camp

Full privacy with only one group per secluded site. Spacious level grassy campsites on the Towamba River, a pristine estuary that runs into Twofold Bay. 10 minutes on bitumen south of Eden and close to many of the Sapphire Coast's stunning coastline, National Parks and attractions. We are not and never will be a 'caravan park' - your group will have exclusive use of the campsite. Each are far from each other, both are right near to - or very close to - the river. Our guests love the tranquility and not having to share! Fish the river for flathead or bream and enjoy it for dinner by the campfire. Bring your kayak or SUP or just enjoy a swim in the clear sandy-bottom river. Once your booking request has been confirmed, let us know if you need more specific directions so you can find us easily. Well behaved (spoilt) dogs okay but please no hunting type dogs. Both sites have access to separate taps for fresh drinking water. Site #2 has access to our composting toilet. You'll need to bring your own chemical toilet for Site #1 (near) Boatramp site. Firewood can be collected from the property or supplied at a small fee (you can book this when you book your site). Feel free to collect your own kindling - plenty around). Good mobile reception on the Telstra network. PLEASE NOTE: the property is currently listed for sale. We are happy to take forward bookings with this understanding and will contact all booked parties well in advance if we sell. The market is very slow so we do not expect a fast sale and will ask for a long settlement so please still book :)
