Beaches, wineries, and whale-watching cruises await caravan campers in this Western Australia town.
If you're looking for a beach getaway along the southwest coast, Busselton should be a top contender. Perched on the sheltered waters of Geographe Bay, just east of Dunsborough, this lively coastal town is the northern gateway to the Margaret River region. Once you've admired the views from the world-famous Busselton Jetty and hit the beach to swim and snorkel, you can head out to visit the region's many wineries and craft breweries, enjoy bushland walks in Tuart Forest National Park, or take a seasonal whale-watching cruise (June to November). Caravan and motorhome campers have plenty of options in and around Busselton, from caravan parks to private Hipcamps. Tourist parks and holiday parks are popular choices for a family holiday (many are pet-friendly, too) and most provide powered sites and facilities, including a camp kitchen, BBQ areas, and free wifi. Some even have a swimming pool and games room.
